We stopped in for apple fritters which are our favorite bakery item. 9:30 on a friday morning. the fritters are cold as if they were just defrosted this morning. Soggy texture. So disappointing. the donuts looked ok but we didn’t try other items.

Our tradition is to stop by on the way home each year. We've been stopping by for years! We've never not liked anything we've gotten. We'll keep supporting this small business. The owners are very nice!

I visited Pawleys Island Bakery, as I do every year during my vacation. I was told they no longer offer butter cakes, indefinitely, and only offer a limited variety of pastries due to the “busy wedding season.“ This has never been an issue before. I was told they are under new management and all I can say is I am very disappointed. I will not be going back.

Felt like the donuts were better under the previous ownership as they had more of a crunch. Also the grill has went downhill and the sandwiches are not as tasty. Not terrible, but average at best.

We got a cake for a wedding rehearsal party and it was excellent. While I did not personally purchase the cake, I did my best to ensure none of it was left over. It was certainly a hit and we'll be ordering a cake for July 4th.
