My husband and I did take out last my husband got the meatloaf, and I got the seafood platter. When we got home and opened up our containers, my husband‘s meatloaf was badly burned, but the burn part was faced down on the potatoes like they were hiding it. My seafood platter was so hard and so fried you could barely bite into it. I suspect it was old oil and possibly pre-fried earlier in the day. We’ve eaten here many times and we’ve always been pleased, but I find that this was irresponsible for any chef to let this food leave his kitchen , and then have us pay for it. My husband drove back and returned the food, but I doubt will return for takeout in the future. Therefore, I would tell anybody to be cautious as I can’t recommend take out.

Poor quality food. Everything over cooked. Nuggets were like rocks I almost had to go the dentist after. Had high hopes but left deflated and wishing I spent my money elsewhere

I do not understand how this place has so many good reviews. the inside smelled like onions, dark , unexciting. We sat outside, ok.
not much to say about service. mediocre.

Now let's talk about the food. Kids ordered chicken nuggets -- they were as hard as a rock, too much breading, almost broke my tooth on the first bite. kids refused to eat and I didn't blame them .
patty melt was cooked in oil, all I could taste was lots of oil. not much flavor, just burnt oil.
would not be back, and would not recommend.

It can get a bit loud. But otherwise a delight. Not many places in the area are open on a Monday but this place is.

Food good. Beer good. What more can you want.

Want something delicious, with a slow kick, get the Cajun Seafood Biscuits. It's just a Cajun soup on a jalapeno biscuit. Also suggest the salmon with cream sauce. True delight.
