We ate here because a couple of other restaurants in the square were closed. So they were understandably busy, we expected to wait a bit for our food. They had a couple of tables reserved (they weren't used for the duration of our visit). We were sat at the end of a 10 top high top table with some others on the other end who were finishing up. We sat for a bit and had to get our own menu because no one checked on us. They took about 3 tables orders who came in after us. While we were waiting for our food they took a reservation for 9 people at the table we were sitting at. The reservation got there just as we were getting our food. They were trying to figure out the seating situation as there were not enough chairs. Since there was 9 of them, one person didn't have a seat and had to stand and hovered near us which made us feel rushed after waiting on our food close to an hour. We would have gladly moved, however the only other open tables had reservation signs and an alternative solution wasn't offered. We don't blame the nice young waitress but the management. Why would you hold tables like that in such a small space? No one from the management team ever addressed us but their actions made us feel unwanted. The pizza was decent but a little soggy.

Reservations mean nothing to this restaurant! We had a reservation for 7 at 5:30 pm. We did not want to take any chances of not getting a table as we had a 3 yr old, 5 yr old and 87 yr old, plus 4 adults. We arrived 5 min early. It took 15 min of standing there to even be recognized by the waitstaff. Then we were told that “ there was a mistake “ and our table was given away. We found out that one of the waitstaff’s family showed up and our table was given to them! This is disgraceful and they have now completely lost our business forever. I wish I could give a negative score

Me and my boyfriend went in after the Farmers Market for some quick pizza and ended up being there almost 2 HOURS!!! We got sat down and ordered but were not talked to again until an hour later when after trying to get several waiters attention finally got it and they told us it would be another 15 minutes. We saw everyone in the restaurant cycle in and out even some MULTIPLE times and the staff told us it was just the oven working slow… Once we finally got our pizza it was not good at all and tasted really bland, seemed like the pizza was incorrectly made but we did not want to wait hours more for another pizza. AND we kept trying to get the attention of the staff even with NO ONE besides one table being occupied. Thankfully they were nice when we FINALLY got the attention of someone and stated how unhappy we were with the food and they covered it. Despite this we will not be going back.

The food here is amazing!! By far the best Calzone that I have ever eaten! The service was excellent, the server was very kind and informative, the food only took around 10 minutes to get to the table after our appetizer that arrived to the table about 7 minutes prior. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, good music to listen to while you eat as well. It was my first time eating here, and my wife and I will definitely be coming as often as possible!!
The pepperoni and meatballs in the calzone that I ordered were clearly freshly sliced and made, the mozzarella and ricotta were a perfect mixture of both, the sauce was amazing and tasted authentic, and was also obviously freshly made!!
I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants authentic Brooklyn style/Sicilian food!!

First time eating here and the food was amazing. Had been searching for a new place to get calzones since my favorite restaurant closed down. This place had them exactly like a calzone is supposed to be. The staff is also really friendly. My husband and I will definitely be coming here again.

First of all, the waitress was friendly enough, but the service was slow. The pizza was ok, not the best or worst that I've ever had. Not overly impressed, probably due to the fact that I read some great reviews and I was expecting much more.
We have been here before, today was a huge let down and we definitely won’t be back. We were not even spoken to after seated for over 20mins. I watched 3 tables who were seated after us have food way before us. We then placed our entire order and still were not even brought our drinks, I had to go ask for them at the counter. We almost walked out twice but with a child wanting pizza we just waited it out. No one checked on us once or anything after our food was brought and I had to walk up to the counter to even pay the bill. Huge let down and we will no longer be coming here or ordering again.

This little hole in the wall restaurant was fantastic! Made me feel like I was in New York. Their pizza was simply amazing; fresh, great tasting. Finished off our pizza dinner with a cannoli that made it feel like home. Definitely can't wait to visit again.

We are so pleased to find such an authentic NY style pizza shop! Great walk-in-the-door service: smiles, hellos and the fragrance of REAL pizza. Hector came out to meet us. And we enjoyed a super pie, cold IPA beer and relaxed atmosphere. Goody on the road
