They have the best corn nuggets. However, the calamari was fake and too salty; the shrimp weren't evenly spiced which made some of them too spicy. Don't like the atmosphere in the Raines in Pendleton, but the one in downtown Anderson has a homey, family friendly feel.

Came into the restaurant on Friday at 7:15 and was told it would be a 40 -45 minute wait. An hour and 15 minutes later, I went up to the hostess stand to find out the status of our seat and was told that they would not be seating us, or anyone else, and that the kitchen was no longer going to be taking any orders. Nobody called our cell number that was left with the hostess to notify us. No text was sent, even though I received a text confirming that I was waiting for a table. Nobody announced this to the restaurant in the bar area where multiple groups of people were waiting for a table. No effort was made to notify anyone who had been waiting there for an hour to an hour and a half that they were not gonna get seated after waiting there that long. And when I asked the hostess why no one was notified she informed me that it was too many people to call everyone. I have never in my life experienced this at any restaurant. If your name is taken at a hostess stand you’re put in a queue to wait for a table, then you get seated. Otherwise, when we came in, they should’ve told us they were not seating anyone else at that time versus making us wait for over an hour. The bartender was very nice that was serving us while we were waiting for a seat, but it reflects horribly on whoever was in charge of these decisions and in charge of not communicating this to the patrons. We tried to find a manager, but to know avail so by 8:45 we left to go rush to find something to eat and luckily Brooklyn Style Pizza next-door, which was closing at 9 o’clock, gladly sat us down and served us with a smile.
Food, service and prices were awesome
This was my first time eating at Raines..it won’t be my last. Food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere. Service was but it didn’t take away from the meal. Great place!
Very good food and great staff
Nice restaurant with outdoor seating
Nothing special or really bad about the food. However, for me, cost versus quality means I won't be returning. Also, we narrowed down our appetizer selection to two, and they were out of both.
I often stop by Raines on Main for their delicious wings and mushroom appetizer. It’s a great spot to grab a quick bite and unwind at the bar after a long day.
Can't wait to go back. The pickle fries were tasty!

Ordered wings over the phone waited twenty mins (as stated over the phone ) came in to get my order and the hostess directed me to the front bar counter thinking I would be picking up my food order . ! NO the host says the order hasn’t even been submitted yet bc she didn’t get a name or number for the order over the phone hasn’t even STARTED the order .( no ones problem but they’re own ) no one asked me for a name or number .just said over the phone it’ll be ready in 20 . . NOT acceptable . I didn’t have an extra 30 mins to wait after already waiting 20 . So just forget it ! We left with no food an angry husband and hungrey angry bird 8 year old. Please be a little more punctual when taking orders over the phone ! I drove 20 mins for that food .and left pissed ! NOT OK .
Good food and excellent service..was just a little noisy..not sure how to fix that being with the layout..
I made a reservation for our wedding anniversary. Upon arrival the manager came out to welcome us in and get us seated with haste and such kindness. The entire staff seemed to know it was our anniversary as they all kept congratulating us and wishing us well The first round of drinks was even on the house which was so sweet! We did have our toddler with us and they were co accommodating, I didn’t even have to ask for them to dilute his drink, she was already on it! For our appetizers we had calamari and chicken nachos which were both 10/10 Dinner was a pound of wings, a surf and turf, and fish and chips with a plate of gorgeous chicken tenders and waffle fries for the little one. The meal lasted for dinner and lunch the next day and I was very impressed overall. 100% will be coming back again and again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To the management/owner: I sincerely apologize for placing a to go order. When trying to pick up my order, the two employees I interacted with had an attitude as if I was bothering them. It sure makes you feel great about eating food from someplace that treats you with contempt. No sauces, utensils, or napkins with order which was cold as well. $40 wasted. If you're reading this and thinking about placing a to-go order and value your mental health, go dine in or order somewhere else.
It was very good. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend they do have an outside seating area upstairs but hasn't been opened yet because of weather
