We ordered online so there was no wait at all. The meat was delicious and not dry at all, plus it was a huge portion. The potato casserole was just okay and I was given a roll instead of the cornbread I asked for so I was a tiny bit disappointed there. Not pictured is the banana pudding, which was absolutely perfect. The wafers weren't all completely decimated and there were real banana chunks. The outside seating/bar area was really nice so if one ever back in the area I would definitely go back and sit outside! I'd also try more of the sides since there are so many options. Overall I think it's worth the hype to try it since the meat really is good!

Everything about this restaurant is good! There's a courtyard with games and restrooms if you have to wait to be seated. We ordered a brisket sandwich with potato casserole and a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The waitress brought our drinks and detailed us on the different sauces. Our plates arrived quickly and the food was delicious. The sweet potato fries with honey and powdered sugar are like dessert! So yummy! This is a must if you're in the upstate!

This is my absolute favorite BBQ place! The food and service are always great! We stopped for dinner after the Clemson spring game. The wait was very short and the beer was good. There were a couple of issues with our food. Our order somehow got lost between the computer and the kitchen but it was fixed immediately. Then there were a couple of issues with things in our sides and in our sons hotdog but the manager went above and beyond to make it right. It was far from the typical experience with the food issues but the waitress and manager made everything right and really took care of our family! We will absolutely be back!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of corn hole boards and putt-putt for the kids
Best barbecue in the entire upstate of SC, hands down! Plus all the fun activities outside (cornhole, putt putt, etc) for before/after you eat, and it's a destination for the entire family.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options, and clearly marked on the menu.

My husband and I have eaten BBQ all over. The bbq there was not great. Ribs were extremely dry and salty. The pulled pork was just ok, nothing special. Chicken was moist but had no flavor. The star was the brisket of the proteins. Sides were just ok nothing groundbreaking. I won’t be back here. We will take our business back to Fork Grove.

For over 6 years I have been told this is some of the best BBQ around, and today I got the chance to see for myself! Got two combo plates with two sides each. Ribs and Brisket with potato salad and jalapeno cheese grits and a roll. The other combo, pulled pork and chicken with Mac and Cheese, baked beans and cornbread. The brisket was the star out of all the proteins, but not the best that I have personally eaten in the area, but it had a good flavor. The ribs, probably the least favorite. A bit dry and just meh ? The chicken was moist and tasty but didn't taste smoked....pulled pork was nice but from others in the area, again just meh ? As far as sides, they were all just ok, nothing mind blowing! The grits had 0 Jalapeno flavor or heat for that matter, if they were just called cheese grits on the menu, they were the clear star of the sides....Oh, and the roll was ok but the cornbread was super good! Im glad that I have had their BBQ for myself after hearing for YEARS that its the best, or its to die for.....I wouldn't go that far. Its just ok overall for me....

Look I'm not saying anything bad about this place the food was awesome tonight you got a brisket in the chopped chicken yeah I got to be more careful about how y'all cut that chicken cuz this is twice that I done found bones bones in the chicken and you can barely see but it's enough to choke someone to death if you know what I mean but some people don't and they go to eat that and they choke on that bone y'all need to take accountability how you cut that damn chicken back there play I'm tired of finding bones that you can choke on there's little kids that love grilled chicken and stuff like that it don't matter it can choke an adult y'all just be more more careful

Ordered 2 meat plate with 2 sidesBaked beans and slaw were very good. Brisket was great. Pork ribs were very good except part of the portion was dried out so bad it was inedible. Service was great. No customer receipt was offered or given. Partner ordered same plate and ribs were top notch. Prices are at the high end ($22 per plate), but bbq is expensive. I would return for brisket and sides - some of the best I've had.
Brisket is dry, so was the chicken. Mac and cheese and fries were good. Service was good. Just not worth the price.
