The beer selection is wonderful, and the atmosphere is nice, but it's a basement, so there's a musty smell that cannot be ignored. That being said, it really was a nice way to spend an hour (or two) and we would visit again if in the area.
Cool underground bar, maybe searching for identity. Downstairs small bar with some craft beers, plus another room for chill, and another room for further chill with maybe some cigar offering.
Every Tuesday night, various local musicians show up to jam in the back room. The music ranges from Bluegrass to the Grateful Dead, with "Angel from Montgomery" being a weekly choice. If you enjoy the energy of impromptu music-making, you will find it here. I have not seen so many people drinking brown ale (bitter) since I left England.
