An absolute must see!! For anyone who loves a good road side attraction, those is the place! It's a fan favorite of our kids on the way to the lake and a place my husband has fond memories from childhood stops as well. Love the ice cream shop and the little store. Please stop and keep this nostalgic roadside place going!!

I stopped in last night, had dinner and listened to a string band before leaving. The staff were probably some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. The country fried steak and gravy was delicious and they even made a couple pieces of cornbread in the back just for me. I can’t say I’ve ever felt more valued as a customer and been met with such great energy in any restaurant I hope I get to visit this place again one day.

The service and the atmosphere is lovely. The music was good.
The food was awful. Literally nothing had seasoning and everything tasted like it came right out of a can or a freezer bag. We were shocked that the buffet for 2 was $44. The shrimp Alfredo literally had no flavor at all. The chowder had congealed into something thicker than gravy.
The tea was delicious and the cake used for shortcake was tender with a nice flavor. But I didn’t find anything else that I enjoyed.
I am sure the ice cream is good. Maybe we will try that sometime. But for $10 for a waffle cone we thought not after that dinner.
We should have taken pictures, but the food was so sad I just couldn’t bring myself to. I rarely give a bad review and always try to see the best wherever we go. But it is what it is.

What a gem. The food is always excellent and they have the best cookies in the area. We highly recommend this place

We just so happened to run across this place while we were exploring the area. We’re so glad we stopped! The food was delicious, the ladies that helped us were great, and they also had cookies, fudge, and ice cream. This is a great little place to stop at!

This became our home away from home on our recent camping trip to TableRock. The chicken fried chicken was incredible! The buffets had a variety of southern comfort foods as well. Our kids loved the huge cookies and ice cream. The staff is all so kind and friendly! This is a must-visit / must-eat if you’re in the area! :)

There were many, many people there. It was somewhat crowded, but the line moved very quickly and was handled very nicely. The food was excellent and they even served on platters instead of small plates like most restaurants do.
All the employees were cheerful, polite, and helpful.
It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Took my two grandkids here to check it out before I bring the senior citizens here to eat on our annual leaf sight seeing outing. The atmosphere was great and the food and service was great.

We only came for the ice cream which was good and prices were fair. However, the three people working this Sunday morning were asleep on their feet it was so awkward. My whole family felt like we walked in on a staff argument, we just needed to take our ice cream and go. If there had been some happy music it would have least offset all the lackluster moody service.

This was our second time visiting. The food just wasn't good this time around. It was either bland or too salty. I took one bite of my salad and had to stop. It had an indescribable odd flavor. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. I hate leaving a not so great review. I didn't bother mentioning anything to them about the food. It really just wasn't to my liking. They're constantly busy. The vibe is old timey and somewhat quirky.

We ate at Aunt Sue's last week and this week and both times we had the same waitress (Kaleigh). We observed her waiting on other tables along with our table of 4 and she was an absolute delight. She was on top of everything and extremely polite. She checked on each table with a smile and asking if she could get them anything. She is just an absolute delight. I will eat there again and highly recommend it! Also, the hostess was absolutely wonderful! We loved her contagious smile!
