My first time at Aunt Sue's and it was worth the 1 hour drive up from Simpsonville area. This was the meat and three I've been looking for! It was so good and reminded me of eating at my grandma's! I plan on coming back for the buffet. Our server was so sweet and attentive. You couldn't ask for better service. We went into the connected ice cream shop and I was so happy to see mango ice cream. It was delicious! Next time I will try some of the fudge. The whole vibe was so cute and quaint and mountainy! I loved it.

Waited an hour and a half for our food. Tables around us were leaving because they never got food and they just kept seating more tables knowing the situation. When I asked the server how much longer, she said "I don't know". Communication should have been better. This is a reflection of crappy management.
After a Friday on Lake Jocassee, six of us went here for dinner. We had not planned on it, but the “all you can eat seafood fluffed” was the only option. $20pp. We all enjoyed ourselves. Although I rarely eat fried foods (which applies to most of the buffet options), it was tasty. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Overall, there isn’t anything to necessarily rave about, but I had no complaints either. It is a good and viable option in this relatively remote part of the county. Go. Relax. Experience things the way they used to be.

Food was great, service was incredible. Family style really means it, and they treat you like a visiting relative.

Aunt Sue’s is so amazing! This was our first experience eating here. Initially we stopped by for a coffee but found that they were serving lunch in what felt like I was eating lunch at my granny’s house! The food was delicious (especially the chicken fried chicken)! There are gift shops and an ice cream shop as well! Can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast buffet!!
I went here with a large group of people and the service was amazing! We had Gabriela as a server and she was amazing. The food was great and the atmosphere was so welcoming and inviting. The porch kitties and dog was a sweet added touch of southern charm to this place. I will be coming back!

We stopped in yesterday; Tuesday 10/ 22/2025. What a darling cabin feel. A well decorated place with funny signs all over the walls. Great homey feel. Greeted when walked in, meat & 2/4 sides looks like the standard offering plenty of choices and even 2 different giant sized salads. Drinks served in giant mason jars giving this place that comfy feel. Otw out the fudge n cookie are starring you down~ for good reasons, they're also delicious! Hot fresh cookies in 6/8 flavors. Total gem after exploring the area. Absolutely will be back. TY for a wonderful calm atmosphere.

All in all are very rude staff
Driving through to Helen, GA and randomly found this spot just taking random back roads. Burger was fantastic, lots of little shops around, ice cream shop attached to the restaurant. Pleasant surprise find!
