Quant, family owned gem in the mountain. The BBQ pork sandwhich was delicious, according to my fiance. My salad was fresh and tasty. We bought a jar of Blackbear Jam and are looking forward to getting home and trying it out 😊

We had a wonderful lunch. The food was excellent as were the owners. I had the pull pork platter with Mac and cheese and baked beans. my husband had the Cubano amazing. My husband also ate my coleslaw slaw and he said it was delicious. We will definitely visit again and again and again...

I have driven by this place a dozen times and either thought it was closed or it looked kind of rundown and I just paid no attention. Today my family and I needed a place to eat and Aunt Sue‘s kitchen up the road was busy so we tried this out. We were very pleasantly surprised with both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. The atmosphere inside is very clean and tastefully rustic decor. My wife and I both got club sandwiches which were made with REAL sliced turkey breast, real cheese and fresh lettuce and tomato. They were delicious! Our boys got the Cubano sandwich and the pulled pork plate and they loved every bite! No complaints… We will definitely return!
Note- get some pumpkin fudge on your way out!
To the owners: if you freshened up your big sign and put an open sign out by the road, I think you would catch peoples eye and get them inside!

Such a great experience… for relatively little money you get quite a bit. We did the pulled pork platters and could barely finish it yet loved everything we got. The woman who helped us up front was all smiles and very pleasant!

We went in to check it out and decided to give it a try.
We had a BBQ sandwich, salad and smoked chicken wings (special of the day). The BBQ sandwich and salad were delish. The wings were okay but didn't taste smoked.
It was a nice day so we sat outside and enjoyed the weather.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Pumpkintown Mountain Opry is an absolute gem! Their sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The hand-squeezed lemonade is the best I’ve ever had—perfectly tart and sweet. And to top it all off, it’s all served by the cutest little trio of elders who make the experience even more special. A must-stop spot if you’re in the area!
