I want to score this a 5 because it is a sweet place and has so much potential. The food was fresh & delicious (small rotating menu). The building is quaint and has SO much potential. The owners, who built the place, were on-site working and were pleasant. From speaking with them, it sounds like this was something to behold in the past. It makes me feel a little sad to have missed what it once was.

October 2023. Stopped in for some coffee and pumpkin while joyriding around the upstate. I remember when this spot was built in the 1980s but I’m not sure I’ve ver stopped in. Our group enjoyed the (annual?) Pumpkintown Fire Festival at the Table Rock Retreat center nearby. We also stopped at one of the many creek access points. Then back to the new house in Richmond Hills.
Have been visiting since I was a kid. Took my youngest there for part of her birthday and was happy to see the big pumpkin and chair there!
