Went to dinner there one Friday evening during the Pickens car show. They sat us, no menu's given. We waited about 10 to 12 mins for them just to get us one, then another 10 mins to come take our orders. Each time the girl acted as though she did not know what she was doing. She kept forgetting things we would ask her for and would walk off again and again to get it. We only ordered 16 wings because they were on special that day. They then came back about another 15 mins to tell us they could not give us the 16 PC but they could do two 8pc and give us the special price. We did that. It took them about another 30 mins to bring them to us. They finally did as we were getting ready to leave the restuarant. There were maybe 6 or 7 tables with other folks when we came in. At the time this went down, they only had maybe one other table? Almost all of the tables continued to have dirty dishes and trash on them. At the time we came in, there were about 6 or 7 tables that had not been cleared. Mind you, there were at least 4 or more girls working. Not a very busy evening but these girls acted as though they had nothing better to do except one of them. She seem to keep herself busy. I got the feeling that the other girls just did not feel like bussing tables that night. I have only been to visit this restuarant once before shortly after they opened and it was fine, but this time? No...........I won't waste my time again.🤨

With the owners that took over recently we have seen a big change. The waitresses are so friendly and they are attentive. The wait on the food wasn’t long at all and the food was so flavorful. I suggest this Mexican restaurant over the others in pickens, go try it out!

This place is the best around. Never a big crowd which is surprising. People need to try this place and keep this place open

Husband and I ordered fajitas for 2 and queso dip...food was cold, hard to find the meat in the fajitas. Small chopped up pieces. 90% onions and bell peppers. Whole raw onion in middle of plate. Tortillas were tough. Food had No flavor. Just bland. Definitely not worth the $60 price tag. Will not eat there again.

The street tacos on corn tortillas are the best I’ve ever had. Homemade salsa and chips fresh and very good.

I really liked it because the atmosphere is very familiar, the food tastes delicious.
My son doesn't eat just any food, and they helped me by giving me several options. The parking lot is very large, which is very good because the cars are not so close together. the place is very clean

Kid-friendliness: My son is very difficult to eat and they helped me by looking for food options that they could prepare for my son.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and the entire place is very wide and that is very good for people who are in wheelchairs.

Wonderful meal! Very friendly service. Two of us had the California Burrito, one had the street tacos, and one had a grilled shrimp salad. All were excellent! The salsa is awesome. Nice atmosphere, with an awesome patio. We come to Pickens once a year and look forward to eating here again on our next visit.

Excellent food and service. Staff was prompt and very friendly! We had the California burrito and taco chicken salad and both were excellent! The whole place was renovated into a Mexican theme from the prior meat and three restaurant that closed. We'll definitely be back! Thank you Sante Fe!

Food is bland, very bland. Server was in training, and language barrier made ordering and asking questions difficult.

Do not go here. Flies all over the place will help you eat.. They DO NOT wipe down the benches or bench-backs (hard to see in pics, but a ton of food and even a bug was there). If you ask them to, you will apparently greatly offend them. Eventually, I just asked for a rag to do it myself, and the waitress cut her eyes at me and would not answer. Then, after an awkward amount of time, she said "sure" but never brought back a rag.... It was not small crumbs. It was a ton of food and dirty, etc. I have kids, so its not ok to just let them sit all over other peoples food. The staff is non-existent and rude. When we walked in, we stood there about 4 mins without seeing anyone. Finally, I walked back to the back and asked if we could sit anywhere, and the same waitress mentioned before said "yeah" like I offended her. Almost no one was in the restaurant (prob due to ratings) they were not busy at all. The food is overpirced and not good enough to even be fairly priced. And like 90% of all the 5000 Mexican restaurants in this area, they do NOT blend real margaritas. It's the fake stuff. Not the pre mix blended with real fruit, even that I'd consider real enough. But just the sour mix and pre mix in ice... Why own a Mexican restaurant and not make real margaritas? This is why I go to the same places that do. Will never go here again. . . Either way, they can't serve them on Sunday, so if you want the fake thing, do go then. I did not eat the steak quesadilla. It tasted rotten, so I asked for my money back and didn't replace it with anything.
