This was my first time trying The Open Door. I have passed by it many times running into town and going home. Let me tell you, I am so very thankful I stopped in today. I ordered the pork bites and egg rolls. The pork bites had an amazing flavor with a nice bit of heat packed in. The grits are flavorful and delightful. The egg rolls... my gracious. I started cutting into them and the filling just burst out. All I can say is, don't be like me. Don't pass out on the gem...
Cool local spot with a great food and drinks! Laid-back vibe, friendly staff, and a menu that pairs well with the drinks. Perfect place to hang out, try something new, and enjoy a casual meal with friends.
The wife and I have been planning on going here for awhile now and finally made it, the open door does not disappoint. The wife got the lamb burger special and loved every second of it. I got the smash burger, ham sandwich style, with the loaded fries. Everything was amazing, the burger was cooked perfectly with all the unique flavours, and the load fries amazing. Lots of outdoor seating and very pet friendly. We will 100% be coming back.
