Usually the porkette is spot on but since they have been in the new place it has been hit or miss. Today I ordered 4 plates, the wings were good. The ribs were okay a little tough but the pulled chicken and the riblette sandwich were beyond dry and tough. The cookies were burnt and hard as a brick. Very disappointing

FANTASTIC brisket!! We will be making a trip to Pickens regularly just to have it. The owner is so kind and the rest of the staff was great as well. Awesome 5 star relaxed BBQ joint that I hope stays around for a long time to come!

This is such a lovely little restaurant in downtown Pickens. They have good and tasty food and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. I usually get the hot barbecue sauce that is so good. The prices are good and the service is excellent! We've been here several times and of course we will be back many more times.

If you like barbecue, just go! Honestly the best ribs, prime rib, brisket, collard greens, and cornbread my wife and I have ever eaten. Met the owner and told him how good they were doing with their food. We were only in town Saturday and Sunday and had lunch here both days. Yes. We came back. Great food! Get you some!

Parking: Multiple marked parking spaces specifically for the Porkette in the parking lot located at rear of the building.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is street level so wheelchair access is not a problem.
