So much talking being done to where cooks can't focus on orders being called out! I Ordered to go and food was sitting for 7 mins before handed to me(wasn't busy at all)! When did pickles stop being served w patty melts?!Restaurant could also use some cleaning!Teamwork makes dream work!

Since the original owner passed away, the new owners (his kids) greed is just ridiculous! They literally charge you $5 just to place a to-go order. This waffle house needs to be seriously avoided. No one needs to support their greed. They just lost this regular customer that would usually eat there at least 3 times a week.

My fiance ordered a flat grill omelet. The cook turned around and said she is not doing those right now. I explained that we have had it plenty times before when coming and other locations and its never been an issue. Our waitress looked at the other waitress and asked why did the cook not want to do it. That other waitress said to us that Waffle House doesn't do them anymore but some cooks do them even though they are not supposed to. We were about to cancel the entire order but our waitress went to the back and the cook that had just got off was nice enough to make the omelet the old fashioned way as asked. The cook that was there looked like she was not having a good day and I hope it gets better for her but that is not a way to handle your customers that are paying. Though it may not matter to them, for this reason we decided not to come back to that location if we have to wait until someone feels like making something or has an issue with what is ordered. We don't know if it is true... that they Waffle House does not make the old fashioned flat grill omelet but we are thankful for the ones that have and do without a fuss there and at other locations. Not sure if she didn't want to clear off the grill to do it or what the issue was but we don't want anyone that has attitudes putting that type of energy into our cooked food that we are paying for. Thank you again to the lady that had just gotten off to come back and make it. Her making an instant choice did not take long and did not take long for her to make.
