They are usually not crowded and the food is very good. Nice portions. Service is also good. I really enjoy the deep fried burritos. Chips are fresh and salsa great too. Check it out in Prosperity!

As a Mexican restaurant specialist, I had to check this one out. Don Chuy’s did not disappoint. I had the beef chimichanga that came with refried beans and guacamole salad. It was everything I expected. Excellent! Yes, I will go back. Nice people, nice atmosphere, and great food, at a reasonable price.

These are the MOST hard working folks I know and it’s proof in their food!!! It is amazing and their service is the BEST!!! It makes you feel right at home in a small town!!! If you aren’t enjoying this little gem you might need a visit to a chain restaurant, cause this is the best Mexican next to Laredo/Mexico!! Thank yall!!!!

Good afternoon. I guess this review is for the newbie or visitor/traveler. This place seems popular with the locals. Let’s start with the good. The chorizo had a nice spice note to it with kick and the “cheese dip” was a good consistency and flavorful. I ordered the Chori-Pollo. It was decent but the chicken was very tough.

The part I thought was a little sus was the fact the server was using window cleaner to prepare my table. Of note there were safe serve certificates displayed but little adherence. I did not see a health inspection grade displayed. Lastly it should not be my job to encourage a restaurant employee to pre-bus a table but who’s going to tell them? The vast majority of tables are left uncleaned until you are to be seated. These were just my observations for this day.
