This place is a real find. I'm from So. Calif. and grew up eating Mexican. Great food. Bean & rice are wonderful. Chili rellenos (how I judge MR's) are incredible. Plus the family is super nice.

My family and I visited this restaurant on our way home from a trip. We checked the reviews and it was decent . So we decided to stop in. When we were seated, they gave us the usual chips and salsa. When we started eating them,they tasted like they were greasy and old. Ok no big deal with chips. But when our food came out, and I started eating the food I could tell something was off. I tried to eat it and not complain but couldn't hardly do it.From the moment we left the restaurant I had to stop every 10 minutes because my stomach hurt so bad. As I am writing this review the next morning, my stomach is still hurting and upset.I understand the economy stinks and restaurants have to go up on their prices but I also don't believe the quality of the food should go way down either. For the other people who's reviews were 5 star. Perhaps they had a better cook. But the one who cooked ours last night did a horrible job.
The food is pretty average compared to other Mexican restaurants. I. Pretty sure they got my order wrong. I ordered the special lunch burrito it was over $8 and I got just one regular burrito with lettuce and sour cream on top. If the order was correct it was not worth the money. But service was good ?Vegetarian options: The menue has vegetarian section.Kid-friendliness: Well it's not a night club so I guess kids would be cool.
