Excellent, homestyle meals with generous portions.
Horrible service, we arrived at 11:50 and did not even get menus untill 12:30 (it was not to busy and there were 4/5 servers and only the front and back dining area were open) people who came in 20 minutes after us got food before we even got our drinks (which was water)! Not to mention all we ask for was one salad to split and they still had other people who was there after us hot food out before our salad! Ridiculous! Will not be back!

Good food, good service
There are 2 home cooking type restaurants at exit 65 on 77. I live very close. Don't choose the omelet place, unless you want a basic breakfast, maybe?
Front Porch place, food was hot, crisp flounder, great sweeter type Coleslaw, green beans did not taste like a metal can but could have used onions or pork bits. Wife said that BBQ plate was good. Good coffee. $40 total including tip. Decent prices. Tables and all were clean, no problems, but the inside of this place is repressive, dark walls, floors... Just not inviting. But, if you are looking for good basic American dinner, is good.

A great local food place to enjoy without a Big Box chain experience.
Don't forget to buy a Brownie at the checkout. It's worth the whole visit.

My boyfriend got sick after eating the pork chops for two days and he was brought sweet tea when he ordered lemonade. After being told the list of vegetables were on the back of the menu 4 times, we finally realized the back of the menu was the front if that makes sense. The menu said the entree comes with a side vegetable. Is it one? Two?
Great home style food. Walk in hungry, eat, get desert, roll back out.

A friend and I met here as a halfway mark between our homes(Charlotte NC to Columbia SC) to have dinner. Due to Hurricane Helene, His power was out and needed to get his homework done for his college course. I just wanted to meet for dinner because I was not affected in that way.
Upon arrival, it was a nice quaint family-owned restaurant. In a small town where seemingly everybody knew everybody based on the conversations that were being had. For me it was too cold. Ceiling fans blowing air on food made the food cold fast. I ordered a garden salad, steamed cabbage, and cucumbers in Italian dressing. My friend ordered the flounder plate (which is nowhere on the menu But was stated to have coleslaw that never came). He said it was great. I did not like the cabbage. I've never had soggy steamed cabbage marinated in some type of oil. I added the soggy cucumbers to the salad which contained cheese, lettuce, a spot of tomatoes, shredded carrots and whole beets. As my friend completed his homework, I was grateful that he was able to use their power to charge his computer in order to do his homework. Of course in this family-owned establishment there is no Wi-Fi but I had my hotspot so it all worked out. The servers were nice and Grace was shown. We did not get dessert before. I'm only eating fruits and vegetables at this time so I cannot post on that. If I was eating southern food at the time I'm sure it would have been a great option for me. Again, we just googled the place to meet in between. That was not a chained restaurant. I'm sure it would have been more enjoyable had I not been sitting directly under a ceiling fan freezing. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. And the restaurant closes at 8:00 so maybe the freshness of the food would have been better had we arrived earlier.

Stop every time when traveling from Florida. Love the fried green tomatoes.
Everything Awesome! From the time you walk in you're treated like family, food outstanding, and the owner invited me to sit with her while I was waiting on takeout. 88 yrs. old and you would never in a million years think she's her age, doesn't look a day over 62 and still working after starting the restaurant 40 years ago. She even had the waitress bring me the best homemade lemonade I've ever had! And for free! I recommend this place as the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Everyone needs to make a trip to Richburg SC just to eat here. 5 stars isn't even close to being high enough for here. Hate I had a wedding today and made it through here too late to eat here again. I only booked my hotel here just so I could eat here again. Made it here at 8:30, called at 9:10 to place my order and they were closed, definitely going to stop through after church tomorrow before I head on to Michigan.

We ate there this past Wednesday for lunch on a return trip from our vacation. We were immediately greeted and seated when we walked in. I had the meatloaf special and my wife had the dark meat fried chicken. Portion sizes were perfect for lunch, but unfortunately we did not have room for dessert. We cleared our plates and we were very happy with our meals. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The servers were all very nice and the prices were very fair. Next time we pass through at lunch or dinner time we will certainly stop by again.
