In South Carolina, the chain has about 200 locations, catering to locals and travelers alike. Known for its flame-grilled burgers, fries, and onion rings, the brand also offers salads, breakfast items, and plant-based alternatives like the Impossible Whopper. This particular location is close to I-95 in Ridgeland, South Carolina. We visited as we were driving north hoping to get 2 Junior whoppers. We went inside and ordered due to the drive through line being so long. There were not many people waiting to order but a few waiting to get their food. It took several minutes for our order to be taken and over 30 minutes for our order to be completed and handed to us. I had to ask for it four separate times. The burgers were good. Normally, if a restaurant provided this poor level of service I would only give them a 1-star review. I have upgraded this to a 2-star review because I was impressed that after I filled out their online review provided on the receipt, their manager called me back to apologize and offer a free meal due to the service. I appreciate the call back and the offer but cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place to any fellow traveler wanting any food quickly.

Gave this location another try out of necessity. I needed a milkshake for a dental patient. Ordered, paid, waited too long only to be hit with "the milkshake machine is down". I was offered a large drink instead. That's not an even swap. I left with no milkshake or refund. Now I get home and all my food is wrong too. My chicken sandwich and 2 burgers have absolutely nothing on them, including cheese.

The last couple of months, the service has exceeded expectations. The food is great for fast food. Most importantly the BK representatives have been exceptional! Every time I have gone, the drive through has been fast, kind, and courteous. Definitely stepped up the southern small town hospitality

I don't like to give negative reviews but I used the app to order so it would be ready when I got there. When I get there I go through the drive through and sit there for over 15 minutes and nobody says anything so I go inside and still have to wait on my food.

Just went through the drive thru. The girl was rushing me to order tried to end my order when I said I had more. I order a whopper with cheese meal a Texas king and a bacon king meal she asked me on each small medium or large I ordered small for both two sweet teas and a coke. Get to the window only got the bacon king and Texas king no whooper with cheese meal she did not give me a receipt and when I told her what I ordeeed she was rude and tried to ring me up for another meal. I said forget it. I paid $25 and some change for slack service and getting rushed. I get there was a storm but do better. Atleast she could have gave me my receipt so I could see for myself because I know what I ordered. And she obviously rang me up for it because she ask what drink for each one.
