Fiddlers Seafood Restaurant

Can’t get an answer when calling. Takes forever even with no one waiting in the restaurant.

We stopped here while traveling thru Ridgeland. Food was great and prices were reasonable. We both had shrimp entrees. Will definitely stop by when we are in the area again!

We had fried flounder real scallops fried squash and fried okra. It was all delicious. Plus they serve cinnamon butter with the hush puppies. We were just passing through coming home from Hilton Head to Greenville and this little place caught our attention. I highly recommend checking it out. Looks like a local's favorite.

We were traveling through the area and this came up as a top place to eat. This could not be further from the truth! Run, don’t walk from this place. The food was terrible! It says fresh local food from fishermen in the area and it was the furthest from it! Frozen frozen and more frozen! The catfish and shrimp we ordered were supposed to be blackened and instead tasted like salt and butter, no blackened seasoning at all. My son’s burger was a hockey puck they had flattened down to a piece of paper, it was so hard and tasted like sandpaper. Low Country Boil….. it was available if you didn’t want Old Bay Seasoning. Why would you even offer it when that’s the whole point of a boil. Go to the store and buy a bottle. The workers outside the one that came on during shift change (she was wonderful and tried as hard as she could to make everything right) didn’t seem to really care. Whatever you do DO NOT eat here! There are several places around it - go to one of those instead!

Better seafood than the expensive restaurants in Hilton Head

Happened across this restaurant while driving from FL to NC and we were very happy with the food. Make sure to try the homemade ranch!

Gave this place second try and I’ll say it’s a decent seafood restaurant. ?

Right off the bat, the best sides are the hush puppies and fried okra. The balance of softness on the inside and crunch on the outside for the hush puppies was perfect! The okra has a nice crunch with light, delicious seasonings. Onto the main dishes, I tried the Pick 2: Fried scallops and Fried flounder. For both of them, the only thing I wish was better was the breading. It was a bit too soft so it fell right off but overall, they still had good flavor to them. I’m very satisfied, would definitely eat here again. :)

Food is OK, order from the counter, there was plenty of seating on a Saturday at lunch. Would not make a special trip to this one.
