Fiddlers Seafood Restaurant

I got the pick 2 basket with fried flounder, deviled crab, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The deviled crab was very gummy - I didn't enjoy it and left most of it on the plate. I didn't pick up on any crab in it. The fried flounder and the sweet potato fries were just alright. The fries were not crispy and the hush puppies were completely raw inside. The onion rings were pretty greasy. The banana pudding was DELICIOUS though - I could eat a giant bowl of it! My boyfriend got the shrimp poy boy and said it was alright.

I love this place - we plan for a stop here every time we drive from North Carolina to Florida - really good seafood in a charming non- pretentious little restaurant - we just left (03/07/2025) for lunch, so fresh and delicious. One reviewer mentioned that it wasn’t very flavorful but I love that it is litely seasoned - really perfect for me. The hush puppies are great, onion rings great, fried shrimp and scallops, again great.

Had the catfish and I have to say the best fish I’ve ever had! Workers are friendly and helpful and the kitchen staff do an amazing job with a good balance of seasoning and quality cooking! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Found this place on the way back from The Bahamas.The food was really very good tender scallops good okra loved the hush puppies! They have a fresh seafood market also got a few things there, Cute little town. Thank you for the great food and kindness!

Best Seafood I have had in 3 years !! I'm from NJ seafood land , moved to Florida & the seafood is OK , I'm spoiled . Driving home from NJ to Florida I told my husband to find me some seafood off I-95 going south . Well he found Fiddlers right off exit 22 South in South Carolina. I'm in heaven I had the best Fried seafood combo Oysters that melted in your mouth , fried shrimp , smooth not tough , & a deviled crab cake !! Simply marvelous. My Husband had the low country seafood Boil !! This will be our stop from now on , back & forth to NJ from Florida

Went in restaurant yesterday to check on gift cards. It looked like one person taking orders and one cook. While I waited for the customer in front of me, I noticed how dirty and how unkempt the place was. A recent order I placed told me the food quality had gone down hill, too. I left. I didn’t really want to gift anyone I know a reason to eat there. The previous owners did a great job running the place. Our choices are so limited in Ridgeland, very unfortunate.

I was just visiting and stopped in this place on a recommendation from somebody we spoke to. Very cool local vibe. Food is better than average. And without a doubt the best hush puppies I've ever had in my life. They were spectacular.

But this visit was such a disappointment that I felt it needed to be shared. Nothing in any of our orders tasted fresh, and everything lacked flavor. I was so concerned about the quality that I ended up throwing most of my meal away out of fear I might get sick. I truly wanted to enjoy this place, but based on our experience, I can’t recommend it.

Scallops were hard, shrimp and oysters tiny and batter was not flavored/seasoned.

Great tasting fried catfish and flounder. Will come again if coming to the area.
