Really good family place authentic Mexican food

I will never give this restaurant my business again. You get mediocre food that is way overpriced and the building conditions are deplorable. We were not satisfied with our order tonight and when we called them they said they couldn't give us a full refund because we had taken the food out of the building but we could keep the food and they would give us half our money back. We had just paid almost double for an order that I had gotten before. When my wife got there they said if she didn't bring the food back she couldn't get the refund. They wanted all the food back for half the money. Are you kidding me? From now on I will go where I know I will get much better food for a much better price.

Nothing fancy but the food and service were great! The menu was in both English and Spanish.

The food was excellent and the service impeccable. It wasn't until the end of our dinner that our waitress realized we were not of Hispanic descent.i didn't mind as this was another chance to practice Spanish...

Service was a little chaotic, but I attribute that mostly to understaffing. Nevertheless, the food was authentic and tasted fantastic. Their drinks are even better. I would eat here again—there’s certainly no shortage of different dishes to try.

Unless you are Mexican or been around a lot of Spanish food I would say it was really hard to understand the menu. It was mostly in Spanish. And there was no pictures showing the item that you were going to order so I had to wing it. What I had was very good it was the nachos with chicken cheese peppers. They gave you plenty of food could not eat it all. The price was reasonable the service was good. The restaurant is very clean.

The ambiance is simple but the food and staff made up for it tripletime. The food was outstanding! The staff was cheery and attentive. It was better than some restaurants I went to in Mexico a month ago!!

We had chilakiles and beef soup. It was delicious. Also they had the best michaladas. We'll be back as often as possible to try more of their dishes. Price was right too.

First time coming here and won't be the last. Definitely don't let location pit you off just go. The salsa is amazing! Menu had a lot of selection but waitress was great with suggestions.

Not good at all. The chicken was dried out and fried hard as rocks. .. the taco was not good. Either a waste of good money and let's not talk about the service it was poor. We had to ask to be seat after waiting for 5 minutes cause the staff was ghost. They had one girl take spoke English. She was working. Hard.

Place was dirty and food had no flavor. Didn't see some if the nastiness and dilapidated condition of the building until on the way out. We will not go back there.

Excellent service and excellent chimichangas and homemade salsa. I will be back.

We have been coming to los cuates for a long time as i used to live in Glover park and the quality of food kept us coming back. I have since moved away but we have still been ordering delivery during Covid many many times, and we wanted to come in and dine in on the patio to support the business. The restaurant was empty, we were the only table there and the server was no where to be found after our first round of drinks. I had to actually go inside and ask for a server like he forgot he had a table after 20-30 minutes. He then added items to our check we never ordered and we asked for a manager to speak to after speaking to someone who looked like a manager. Whoever we spoke to then sent the server back out. He admitted the wrong items after price gouging were on the check and it was just really awkward. Love the place, have been going and supporting for years,and we spent $300 but we will not be returning.
