Upon in found 90% of the food that was in the buffet to be disgusting old, you could tell that it had been sitting there all day. I wish I could take pictures man and have posted them so I decided to skip the buffet and order off the menu once I started to order attitude changed so I decided just to get one plate for my wife and then upon ordering shrimp mei fun on an average cost about $12 anywhere you go I paid 20 here. I highly recommend that nobody ever go back to this place. Or even try for a first time if this is how they intend on keeping it.
PS it is also extremely dirty.
The buffet was not very well but i ate, i left a $2.00 tip on table , today i look at my bank and they added $3.00 tip to my bill. I called them as i am a Trucker and complained and she said just $3.00 , That is theft and i am pursing charges , its the principal thieves
I was beyond impressed! The buffet was well-stocked with a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes, from General Tso’s chicken to perfectly cooked lo mein, were all delicious and kept replenished. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff ensured plates were cleared quickly. If you’re looking for a fantastic Chinese buffet with a great selection, this is the place to go! I’ll definitely be back.
Dear [Mayor's I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling experience my family and I had while visiting a Chinese buffet in Ridgeland, SC.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who had limited proficiency in English and required us to pay in advance. Initially, we were puzzled by this policy, but it soon became apparent that it was likely implemented to prevent customers from leaving due to the poor quality of food served.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was far from satisfactory. The food was overcooked and emitted an unpleasant odor, and the meat appeared unrecognizable, raising concerns about its quality and safety. My mother-in-law felt unwell, and the children were visibly distressed, while my wife and I found it impossible to enjoy our meal.
We chose not to consume any food and requested a refund, but the owner feigned a lack of understanding in English, which further complicated the situation. The atmosphere was unsettling, with loud Chinese music playing in the kitchen and odd sounds that added to our discomfort.
I urge you to look into this matter, as it poses a risk not only to the health and safety of local residents but also to the reputation of Ridgeland as a welcoming destination for tourists.
Thank you for your attention to this serious issue. I appreciate your commitment to maintaining the quality of dining establishments in our community.
This place doesn’t even deserve one star. The experience was absolutely disappointing. The environment was unclean, and the service was unacceptable. We chose not to eat and requested a refund, but the staff, particularly the lady we spoke with, was incredibly rude and refused to issue it. I strongly advise avoiding this place altogether.
Best Chinese restaurant around! The owners are also friendly and accommodating
I couldn’t even eat my food, the place was nasty. The food reheated, no fresh and tasted awful. Sooo expensive, i don’t recommend it!
They have nothing on the buffet, don't waste your time.
EVERYTHING WAS NASTY. The food doesn’t even taste like Chinese food at all almost made me sick

Not very welcoming or accommodating. Friday night, and we were the only ones here.... should have been the warning, but....small town. Anyway.....while eating from the meager buffet(not too good,(esp for $12.99 each), a cockroach waltzed down the floor and then up onto the front door!!!! NOT GOOD!!!! Go to the pizza/pasta place next door!! Better chance of decent food and hopefully no bugs!!!! So gross!!!! At least whatever it ate, it looks like it wanted to use a credit card. ????

They were so nice!!! Even with the buffet full and my girl and I were the only ones there, they made fresh dishes to fill every spot on the buffet! We were amazed at how good all the food was and their hospitality was out of this world!!! Definitely stop and grab a plate at this

I've been eating here since they opened 20+ years ago, and I am the saddest to say that the food quality that was sub-par before has become straight garbage. You cannot trust a single food from here to last more than 4 hours. I ordered an entree that I was unable to finish, and when I wanted a midnight snack a mere 2 hours later, the dish had already turned. If the prices has stayed the same, I might could understand, but explain how 3 entrees plus 3 egg rolls is $75. And less than 4 hours after that, I risk food poisoning. Pathetic and disheartening.

Only Chinese In town, overpriced , the buffet is not worth the price. Half of the buffet has cheap cookies and orange slices as fillers. If you order wings, you might just get a half of a wing. The sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, pepper steak and chicken fried rice are

This place reminds me of my village in China, nothing here's says Western privilege. If you want good authentic Chinese fried chicken wings this is the place! Service and atmosphere is great also!
