We found Tailgater Bar and Grille last year as we were traveling south on Around Me. We were very pleased with the service, drinks, and food. On our 2025 trip south and our group planned to return to Tailgater Bar and Grille. Taylor and Ava did an outstanding job waiting on us. The food and drinks were still wonderful. We would recommend it. Very friendly atmosphere, you will enjoy it.

Best medium rare burger I’ve had in years!! Also, one of the specials had a spiced apple chutney. We did not have the special but when I inquired about the chutney the staff brought out a sample and it was fantastic!!

Didn't look like much when we pulled in, what a pleasant surprise! Football Sunday! Service was terrific especially staff that greeted customers and guided them to the TV screens for their favorite teams.
Southwest eggrolls, pot stickers and gumbo were great! Had a blast!

Being new to town and not being able to find the broncos game on regular TV, we found this place that had the game on. The food was good and the beer was super cold. What a great gem in our backyard. We are looking forward to watching more games here.

Stopped by Saturday to find out what we needed to do to watch Ravens game Sunday. Was told to come at noon.. Find out which TV had our game and claim a spot. We did exactly that. Watching our game and group of Steelers fans (who came in late) demanded TV next to us changed to their game. This was done. Then they wanted our TV changed because we had sound. GM did this. To watch our game we would need to cink our necks. We complained. He could have told us before he did it. Made sure this was okay as we were there first. He could have turned off all sound. He said there are more of them than you. Wow. We always do this he said. Well then we should have been told when we walked in the bar... You know the Ravens aren't a huge draw we could have been put at a different TV from the beginning. This was very disappointing. To be disregarded in such a way after you plan ahead to do it the way they said we should do it. We will never go back. Ever. We left and the other gentleman that was also a Ravens fan and had come early also left and said he would never be back also.

Really good, affordable, bar food. Try the burgers and Reuben. Great wing selection as well. Attractive, friendly, high energy, staff. Professional billiard set up. Owner Chris is very active.
My wife and I were traveling home from NJ to FLA and were staying in Hardeesville. We traveled over on a Wednesday and 5:30 pm and the place was jammed with people for open mic night. We entered to find the place very crowded, but enjoying the music and vibe. We almost left because we couldn't find a table or room at the bar when Chris the manager came over to us and set up a table for us and made us feel comfortable while explaining the evening activity. From there the service and food was outstanding. The music and atmosphere kept us there for 2 hours. We will definitely go back on our next trip north.
