Best food for the money!!!
Great southern food, it was like going to my favorite aunts house that knew how to cook well. I recommend the buffet and get a taste of all the southern standard foods, hush puppies, baked macaroni and cheese, collards, fried chicken, pulled park, yams, and lots of desert
I like barbecue but I love their fried chicken, fried okra, banana pudding and macaroni and cheese.

Real as it gets BBQ! If you want the real SC BBQ experience this is it, no frills or anything fancy, just great family run BBQ
Accidentally fell upon this place on Friday night passing through the area about dinner time. $13 for a buffet style meal?!?! It was like home cooking, EVERYTHING was soaked in seasoning. Especially loved the fried chicken, yams, and green beans. Wife loved the pulled pork and said “not many people know how to cook veggies anymore but this is good!” We both topped it off with banana pudding and hit the road again so happy for the pleasant delight!
The long lines for dine in and carry out testify to the good food served here!

I have always loved the food at Dukes, as well as the dinning area. But then I'm just an old country girl. I have however told folks from the city about them and everyone tells me they also loved the food and dinning experience. I rate them very high.

Food was good. The problem. It was hotter than hell in there. To the point I had to leave. Couldn't even go back for a 2nd plate or a desert. Certainly did not get my money's worth.

It's a BBQ place. Don't expect someone to coddle you just get your food and sit down and eat. Food is great. Sides are great. Don't mess with the ladies up front just get your food and move forward.
