This place is special. Can’t find these flavors anywhere else. Might be out of the way for most, but definitely worth the drive. Got the brisket quesadilla, alligator bites, buffalo lemon pepper wings, sweet plantain, and smoked mac n cheese. Each item was seasoned to perfection and top tier delicious. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could.

Barbeque with a Caribbean influence, we loved it. It was tender and juicy with some heat. We live in Texas so we were very glad we stumbled into this place. Highly recommend you try if you have an opportunity.

Kahulua pulled pork was wonderful! The sweet potato fries would be worth the stop by itself!!! Enjoyed the potato salad and the slaw. Portions were generous.

Why fight the downtown crowds, just take a leisurely country drive to this hidden gem that has some of the best smoked pork offerings in the tricounty area.

Customer service was poor. Ribs were burnt and bbq sauce seemed to have just been dumped on to the ribs. The toast ribs were on was burnt. Coleslaw was bland. The rice w/ oxtail gravy was super salty. Money wasted!

If you want a BANGIN meal, you NEED to go Hwy27cafe!!
We drive by it all the time, but finally stopped in, and boy oh boy, we should've been goin there a long time ago!
The owner is personable, passionate, and you can tell that he cares about the customer experience. There's a variety of food there, so you have lots of delicious options to pick from. The food is ON POINT and seasoned *chef's kiss* very well!
Go out and support this local, small-town, and veteran owned business! Your belly will thank you 😊

Search no further for good local BBQ! I've been driving past this place for months saying I was gonna stop in and it kept slipping my mind. Glad I went! Service was excellent, very friendly. The food was outstanding. We had the plantains which was amazing. Shrimp tacos were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The pork steak was delicious! Likely the best I've ever had. Definitely recommend and I'll be back soon!
