Went to try this place, but unfortunately didn't even get to try the food because no one seemed to want to take our order.

We walked in, looked over the menu for a few seconds, then stepped up to the cashier to order. There was one guy at the cashier as we were looking at the menu, but he left the counter by the time we were ready. Never acknowledged us. He even came back briefly, but ignored us and left the counter again. We waited there for quite a while. There was a group of four or five employees at the pickup area having a group conversation. I made eyecontact with one or two of them, but still no acknowledgement of our presence at the cashier counter. Not even a 'someone will be right with you' or anything.

There were no customers inside at the time, just a lot of employees, some on their phones and standing around. It was a very bewildering experience, I've never been ignored like this at a restaurant. After waiting another minute and watching the employees ignore us, we eventually left to eat somewhere else down the street. Not a great first impression.

Every time I’m back in town this is a must stop. Plain Jane burrito beats out any chain all day, and they have plenty of options. 5 stars easy.

Ordered from Dank Burrito for the first time, and the menu definitely caught our attention with its variety of creative burritos. My wife really enjoyed her Plain Jane Beef Burrito. .

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t quite the same. I ordered the Jerk Burrito because the description sounded amazing, but the actual flavor didn’t live up to expectations. I could only taste the jerk chicken — none of the pineapple or mango salsa that was listed, which would’ve added some sweetness and juiciness to balance things out. It also seemed to be missing the sour cream, leaving the burrito a bit dry overall.

Portion size was great, but the lack of those key ingredients made it disappointing. I actually ended up planning to make my own mango salsa just to enjoy the second one I ordered.

I’d definitely give them another try since there’s a lot of potential here — hopefully just an off day in the kitchen.

Been coming to this establishment since they open. Don't like the Commodore here. I spend near 45$ a week here. Money hungry people.

This place was awesome!!

We just tried it, and it blew all expectations!
You walk in and it’s a fun vibe, cool people, and cool menu!

The guy was very patient and helpful as we were deciding what we wanted, he had great recommendations!

I got the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, and my wife got the taco plate with the Asian Pulled Pork Taco, and the Honey Truffle Buffalo Chicken Taco. All delicious!!
Mine had a house made YumYum Sauce that was delicious!

The chips had a yummy seasoning to it, and the salsas were delicious!
The mild was like a pico, the hot was a habanero, and then they had a ghost pepper salsa that my wife loved!

We also got a free queso for downloading the app, and it was delicious!! Just the right mix of thick but not too thick!

Definitely worth trying, it was awesome! We will be back!

Nice selection of regional beers on draft and delicious burritos. Service was on the mark and friendly. The décor included colorful graffiti art with one wall dedicated to one of the Civitas statues near downtown. Parking in the deck is now free of charge, but it seemed that all of the convenient spots are reserved for a nearby hotel.

So good! Wayyyyy better than chipotle!! I love the Buffalo Truffle shrimp bowel. Wish there was a location in Charlotte!
