Wife and I went early Sunday morning. I had the Texas bowl and she had the classic. OMG the food was amazing. I had not been there in a few months and I won't make that mistake again. This little place is a hidden gold mind. Service , price, and food were nothing less than perfect. !!!

First the waitress Erica was friendly. The food was okay, but I don't think I will be visiting this restaurant again. I had the coastal crab cake Benny with Hollandaise sauce, I like the sauce, but it was too much. I asked if they had chicken and waffles and she explained that they didn't serve them, but she say that the broken egg has them and Helen's hot chicken served them as well. After I got my food I didn't see her again, she didn't check on me, & I had to ask another waitress for silverware.

Great food with a wonderful, somewhat sassy server (which was fun and not the least bit off-putting). There were good portions of food for the price and we all left with full tummies and one of our party saved their home fries for later consumption. Highly recommended and would go again.

Me and my family door dashed food from here. our bag was a complete mess. There was food all in the bag because they didn’t properly put the boxes in there. The Dasher even said they filled the grits to the rim and it spilled. We ordered a burger, plain and had pickles. It was cold. Then we called and this woman picked up. She was not even trying to understand where we were coming from or trying to fix it. It’s like she wouldn’t comprehend nothing 😂 We love coming here and eating here. This is the first time we’ve been really disappointed. Customer service just isn’t the same anymore.

Favorite breakfast place. Their food is so fun and creative and delicious. I love that there are breakfast staples but also a rotating seasonal menu and local favorites. The staff is always so warm and accommodating, and it feels like you're being served by family. The only negative thing I could say is they are just so popular that it can be quite busy and loud somtimes.
