I appreciated the extra queso & chips. That is my go to when I’m just trying to vibe out & enjoy the drinks. I greatly appreciated that! The queso was prepared so well!

I was in recently & ordered the famous chicken soup. It was different because there was no large chunk of chicken or avocados & the broth was watered down. Every place is skimping on product. I was so disappointed & unfortunately I will not return too much of the soup was lacking the original soup from prior visits.

My family and I ate here for dinner one night while visiting Carowinds in 4/2024. The food was great, we enjoyed it. Karina was our waitress and she was very laid back but attentive as well. Very pleasant and friendly.I had the burritos, my wife had the Taquitos and our son had the beef tacos. All were tasty and made with quality ingredients. Very reasonably priced as well.The atmosphere is that of a typical nice Mexican restaurant.We would definitely eat here again if the situation presented itself. Recommended!!

I had great service at the bar during a late Friday lunch. Everything was great besides my pastor tacos. The tacos were significantly under marinated. (I eat tacos al pastor at pretty much every Mexican restaurant/trucks that I eat at.)El Cancun is definitely going to get another chance if I am in the area again.

Honestly I am in absolute shock by how POORLY we were treated today. I haven’t been here in years but this will definitely be my last time. Our waiter GEORGE was incredibly rude and dismissive. He got an attitude because I wanted to change my order even though he took my order in such a hurry he never asked me what meat I wanted with my dish and you have the option to choose from chicken steak or shrimp. Also the lady waitress was rude and told me “I’m not your server” when I simply wanted to ask for a coloring menu for my daughter to color, and George was purposely avoiding us after HE was displeased that I wanted to change my order. Not to mention our table stayed dirty and we had to ask the lady manager to bring us boxes and the check, who also insulted my intelligence by asking if the to-go cup I wanted was for my margarita ? I guarantee if we were a different ethnicity we wouldn’t have been treated so poorly but that’s ok. We will stick to Los Cantaritos where we get much better service.

Roberto came as soon as I was seated. The food was excellent. The carne asada was perfectly spiced and cooked. Reminded me of a place I used to eat on Olympic Boulevard in LA. Very satisfied with the portions and price. Too bad I don’t drink because a Dos Equis would have been perfect with my dish.Definitely going back!Parking: I got to park right next to the door.
Great service, atmosphere, but the food wasn’t up to par. It lacked flavor and the portions were kinda on the stingy side.

Stopped here for lunch today. Ordered a taco salad. Not a good salad at all no beans very little diced tomatoes, lots of shreaded lettice and a good potion of hamburger. teaspoon of sour cream and guacamole . Had to ask for hot sauce which was brought out in a small cup. Chips were good salsa was very watery. Not on my list to
