Regular customer for takeout at this location and usually there hasn’t been a problem but lately the last few times I’ve done my pickup the young kids running the area don’t know what they are doing. They don’t even bother to acknowledge you after you paid and have been standing there 20+ min on your food; only to find out that they put it to the side where door dash grabs the food. Then tonight’s visit they ended up giving my pasta away because they don’t know what’s what and my calzone was in a completely differently spot. They really need to learn to direct ppl after taking their money to see what the progress is on the food or if it’s already come up and where it was put cause me waiting an additional 20-30+ min after you said it’s ready in 20min without acknowledgment is poor customer service. I told the young lady the 1st time it happened that they need to pay more attention but here we are AGAIN with the same issue. If you’re in the business of customer service they need to be taught to be proactive in making sure the customer is acknowledged after a few minutes and checking with their team as well. I’m not looking for perfection, but ignoring paying customers who are waiting is a turn off and not worth paying money if the customer service is lacking.

Our service and the food was awesome ?. By far the best Italian food we've had in a while. My family will definitely be back. The C.Y.O.P. is on the money ,pizza was delicious and the hand foods were like heaven in our mouths my kids said. Thank Empire for the great experience. The staff was great as well. My little family gives them a ten out of 10 rating!!!

Service was terrible , had to get our own silverware, crushed red pepper and waitress never came around and asked if we wanted another drink . Domestic beers were supposed to be one of the specials tonight and we got charged full price.
Love their lemon pepper wings , Greek salad and Blackened chicken!On Wednesday wings are half-off before 7pm dine-in only! ( selected locations)Kid-friendliness: They do have a small option of games for the kids to enjoy!

Based on what I had it was disappointing. The chicken carbonara sounded great and I added shrimp. Salad was great. Garlic knots were chewy and there was soooo much salt and bacon it overpowered the whole dish. I couldn't eat much of it. I almost want to take the dish back up there tomorrow and return it. lol.

We visited Empire Pizza with a large group during a very busy time. The surrounding areas were hosting softball tournaments, volleyball tournaments, and the NCAA tournament. There were a couple hiccups, we weren't given flatware by the host and my son's garlic knots came out after everyone was done eating, but it was the wait staff's fault. The service was pretty good for how busy they were with dine in customers and a continuous line of to go customers. The food was really good and we will more than likely take our group back next time we have a tournament in the area.
The food was terrible at the mint hill location. It was a greasy, soggy, messy pizza. You could hold the pizza up and the grease would drip off. I asked for management to come to the table and they did not make any offer to fix or provide a new pizza.

Literally tasted like Sam’s Club pizza. I’m not sure what they changed, I used to go here a couple years ago and it was delicious New York style.
