Cook is rude. Said they had fried ribs before I paid, 5 mins after I paid he said they didn't have it and had a problem with me getting a refund, and wanted me to pick something else. I declined and the nice lady at the register gave me my refund. It was an inaccurate amount but it was close enough so I didn't say anything. Got back to the hotel and the gravy was cold, the rice tasted old, no flavor, mac n cheese was cold with no flavor, fried chicken was under cooked. Threw the rest of the food in the trash. Wouldn't return and I let the rest of the team I traveled with to take it off their list of places to try out.

Must eat. Especially on Sundays if you looking for southern homestyle.

I came here based off of the reviews and I didn’t want to drive all the way to Charlotte for soul food. The chicken had zero seasoning, the gravy was salty, macaroni & greens beans were ok. Overall the cornbread was the only item worth paying for. Maybe today was an off day? I won’t be back to find out.

I have wanted a good mac and cheese for WEEKS. Bojangles wasn't cutting it. I ordered from here because they are only a 3 minute drive from my workplace. Not only was the mac and cheese amazing and reminded me of grandma's cooking, but the bacon on the BLT was crispy. You know how hard it is to find a place that makes their bacon crispy?!I'll be back for sure!

Today was my first time visiting the restaurant. The staff moved slow ?. They got my order wrong. I ordered the steak quasedia but got the chicken quasedia. The quasedia was plain with no dipping sauce. The sweet tea was overly strong, hardly no sugar. Next time don't use so many tea bags. Had to take the food over and re make it over to make it tolerable.

Came in town for a family event and stopped by here. Someone's Mother had to have given them all the recipes or in the back cooking because everything was delicious.

Me and my husband wanted soul food on our mini travels and this place was a vibe, the food was so good and the employees were awesome. The vibes felt like we was in our own home having Sunday dinner. Definitely will be back!
