Hickory Tavern Reviews
1st time at the Tavern in months.
IT SUCKS. Ridiculous prices. mediocre food.
Theres no way anyone can afford to sit there and watch football and pay those prices!!!
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I didn’t get the name of our waiter but we waited forever to get our drinks correct. I ordered a mojito, and he said it wasn’t in the computer so gave me a Kentucky mule instead which I didn’t mind but maybe 🤔 check with the bar instead of “the computer”. Or don’t advertise a drink if you don’t have it.
Food was cold and the Philly cheese steak had absolutely no flavor, tried adding bbq sauce for some flavor. Chicken strips and tator tots were cold. Nachos were so so.

Hickory Tavern is a dog-friendly restaurant that offers a range of meal options, including burgers, fried pickles, and quinoa bowls with salmon. The service is generally praised, though there have been occasional instances where it could have been improved. The restaurant provides both outdoor and indoor seating, catering to those who enjoy dining with their pets.
The food quality is reported to be good, with a particular highlight being the chicken meal topped with jack cheese and bacon. However, customers sensitive to spiciness may want to request a different cheese. While the portion sizes have been noted as somewhat small for the price, it is not considered a deal-breaker.
The restaurant's manager is commended for actively engaging with customers and ensuring a positive dining experience. Overall, Hickory Tavern is described as a good choice for those seeking a range of dishes in a dog-friendly environment, with the potential for an excellent experience, depending on individual preferences and dietary needs.
