We usually really enjoy a quick weekday lunch at Hickory tavern, but today we had the slowest service it took us an hour and a half to get our food, they were accommodating holiday parties and did not make a good plan to take care of regular customers.

Waited 30 minutes longer than the original 15 I was told for a call in to go order. I was completely ignored after they swiped my card to the point that I actually deducted $1 from the tip. I had to finally ask them to check for my order and finally got it. When I got home I had a cold sandwich and 4 whole chips as my side. Extremely disappointing to say the least.

I ordered the wings lightly chared... when they came out... they were dried out, overcooked, and has no flavor to them. I was very disappointed... now I remember why I stopped going there... the food is nasty!!!
The hot honey chicken was dry and no where filling...

We frequently visit hickory taverns but have noticed the last two times that the food had been inadequate. The nachos that my son has ordered numerous times over the years were in his own words terrible. Chicken tenders were chewy and not eaten. Not a very good experience. Something has changed recently and not as good as it was in the past.
