We usually really enjoy a quick weekday lunch at Hickory tavern, but today we had the slowest service it took us an hour and a half to get our food, they were accommodating holiday parties and did not make a good plan to take care of regular customers.

Shrimp and grits are good! Too bad they took that as well as the jacked up chicken off the menu!😫
Ran out of house chips so that wasn't available either.

Our server Lacey was the best! She went above and beyond for our family always noticing when refills or anything was needed. Made sure to check in and was friendly all night! We come frequently but hope to get Lacey as our server more often!
