Hobo's Reviews
I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up...read full review
We have been waiting over an hour after ordering our food. Several tables around us have been seated after us and were done and paid. We’re still waiting on our order.
I generally wouldn't leave a review like this but after reading all the reviews, it seems the establishment doesn't have it 100% together with the food service industry. The bar runs great it seems but what bar doesn't as long as the patron is drunk. Hobo's offers a family-friendly atmosphere with a quiet dining area, despite being open to a play area. The restaurant has a huge selection of beers and wines, and it is located next to a brewery owned by the same owner. Live music events, such as the Blue Grass festival, contribute to the lively ambiance. The food receives high praise, with dishes like the burger with egg and interestingly seasoned fries being favorites. Many guests enjoy the creative menu, which offers a variety of options, including pimento cheese fritters, sunrise burger with fried egg and bacon strips, and a blacken salmon sandwich. The Islander Burger is also highly recommended and cooked perfectly. The service is friendly and attentive, with waitstaff ensuring drinks are always topped off. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making guests feel comfortable. Parking is plentiful, and the bar area opens both inside and outside. Upstate booths are large and made of wood, which may cause some discomfort after a while. The environment is clean, with good music adding to the enjoyable experience. Overall, Hobo's is a popular spot where guests look forward to returning for great food and a fun, laid-back setting.
