Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Closed. I guess they’re closing all their locations in North Carolina. Every place I’ve been to. It’s been closed. They closed the one in Randleman where I lived and they close this location as well. I was excited to see it. Show up on Google me and my Coworker went there to eat only to find out it was closed down

About over 12 years ago, they opened a location in Matthew's Weddington. Where there is a Subway, Panda, HT, Shell, and a Karate place. A big church right next door. I remember a long time ago, my brother and I went to get Subway (closed now) Hwy 55 was right beside it (Now Papa's pizza pick up) over 12 years ago, I remember the owner was brand new starting this burger shake business and came out to talk to me. Said all these good things about the menu and how it brings back memories of the 1980s and older diner experience. I was only 20 something and sadly refused. Now I'm 33 (more mature) and very interested in history, especially the legendary old school diner experience. Will definitely visit real soon. Hope the owner understands about me not giving you guys a chance over 12 years ago. I feel bad, lol. Will definitely try now and many more.

Making this review based on the whole hwy 55 brand not just this location. Every since they changed the name from Andy's it's just not the same seems like they went downhill I'm sorry but not sorry

The food was delicious, and the service was great. They are always nice. They always great right when you walk in, then treat you're treated like family. I always enjoy my stop.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because I believe there is always room for improvement. How they could improve; I don't know. The food was affordable and delicious. Biggest double cheeseburger I've ever had.

Been here over a dozen times now. The cooks are excellent, and very fast. The food is fresh and tasty, and the service is always excellent as well.

Loved this place! I had a burger and fries. They were delicious and hot! We were greeted right away, staff very friendly. Best burger I've had down here and will definitely go back!!
