We had pizza and wings and both were amazing! The pizza was cooked perfectly and the dough had such a spectacular flavor. There are also plenty of things for small children to do and play with while waiting for our food! Great experience!

The pizza is so tasty and authentic! I could not get over how good it was. I got a small supreme pizza. My husband got a large chicken bacon ranch. The Ingredients were so delicious and we both have plenty to take home. We got ice cream for dessert. It was so delicious! I am so glad my husband brought me here. I will definitely be back!

Hunter told me he uses a starter, for the crust, that he’s been feeding for five years. Morgan waited on us and served the ice cream. Lindsay, the manager, checked in on us. Everything was over the top fabulous! I give them five stars in every category!

This place knocked it out of the park. The pizza was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself was spotless. We tried the meatball ricotta and the chicken bacon ranch pizzas, and both were outstanding—flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care.

As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve also brought our favorite ice cream spot, Two Scoops, under the same roof, which is honestly a dream combo. Amazing pizza and amazing ice cream in one stop? Yes, please.

Pro tip: get the Shipwrecked ice cream—you will not regret it. We can’t wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the pizza menu! 🍕🍦

I saw 4.9 stars and decided to come to this place. We are on a road trip with small children. Ordered 3 different pizzas. This was the most FLAVORLESS dough slop I’ve ever had in my life. Nobody liked it. It tasted like dipping old pretzels in tomato juice. How do you COMPLETELY mess up a pizza? Tasteless I’m not making this up. 0 taste. Tried milkshake and also tasted watered down. I threw it away. No I didn’t complain, it’s just a bunch of clueless college kids what’s the point. Not like I’ll ever be coming this way in the future. We had to eat, kids were starving. What a disappointment.

My absolute favorite pizza place in York County! We’ve had pepperoni, chicken bacon ranch, and meatball ricotta - all with a great sourdough crust. Bonus - they have ice cream also. Shipwrecked is chocolate ice cream with Oreos and salted caramel.
Love the staff. What a perfect addition to Rock Hill!

Junior Varsity is an absolute gem. SO glad I found it. The pizza uses a sourdough, which really allows for more pungent and popping sauces and ingredients. I got their pickle pizza, which honestly was INCREDIBLE. If you like pickles, try it. Also, the dough is perfect for cold pizza leftovers. Genuinely, one of the best and most memorable pizzas Ive had in a long time.

After pizza, the ice cream selection is also fantastic. a LOT of options I havent seen elsewhere. I got Cookies by the Sea, which is a cookies and cream with salted caramel. Perfect ending to the meal.

But what really stood out to me was getting to talk with Hunter, the owner. He was super kind and passionate, and he answered all our questions, and he told us about his 1000 year old sourdough starter. You can really feel his passion, and it shows in the quality of what he's made.

Overall, Junior Varsity is incredible, and it’s absolutely earned a permanent spot in our regular rotation. Can’t wait to come back.

My fiancé went there today and not only was the pizza wonderful, but so was the owner. Hunter is so nice and genuine as well as clearly cares about his business. You can tell by how passionately he talks about it.

The pizza is incredible! It's made using sourdough, which actually made me excited to eat the crust (which gets left on my plate at other places). My fiancé loved his dill pickle pizza and the Hawaiian was amazing with the added cinnamon! I cannot wait to go back to try their hot honey.

Plus, once done with our lunch we got their ice cream for dessert! Cookies by the sea was a fun and yummy twist on the classic cookies and cream.

The vibes with having board games, sports, and music was so chill. You can just by a 2 liter drink there, sit back with some cups, and chill while you take it all in.

I cannot describe fully how much I loved this place and felt so welcome. I could have been there all day! It was a homey feel that we were looking for since moving to Rock Hill a few years ago. Definitely our new date spot for pizza and ice cream. ♡♡♡

Will definitely return!

Got to dock a star because the pizza on my first visit was burnt, but gotta give a shoutout to the baked white cheddar mac and cheese - it might be the best I've ever had.

The pizza was very good, probably some of the best I've had in Rock Hill in a while. We got a whole pizza with pepperoni and pineapple and I was delighted to find that they use the cupping pepperoni which gets nice and just a little bit crispy on the top. I especially liked the fact that they use all sourdough pizza dough. I don't think I've ever heard of a different restaurant that uses exclusively sourdough, the flavor of the dough itself far exceeds other Pizza doughs in my opinion and I'm from New York ( as everyone knows...New Yorkers are notoriously overly critical of pizza especially in the south).

I'm excited to try their ice cream as well as some of their other specialty pizzas that they offer. They still had single slices for sale at 6:00 p.m. which in my opinion is incredibly rare, most pizza places only offer slices at lunch time but it's directly on my way home from my mortgage branch office at the Gravity Center so it'll be nice to stop in and see what type of specialty slices I might be able to snag on the way home.

Love this place! My wife and I stopped by Saturday afternoon 12/6. We each ordered a 10” personal pizza…we both thought the pizza was amazing! They use sourdough crust which was great and the sauce was perfect! Since they have ice cream I tried a couple of scoops and that was delicious too. They have many choices of hand scooped plus soft serve. We will definitely be back!
