Staff were friendly and helpful! I bought a chai latte and a savory breakfast bread. Both were delicious!

Mado French Bakery is simply amazing! Every single sweet is absolutely delicious—every bite is full of incredible flavor, and you can truly taste the love and care that goes into everything they make. I honestly love every bite.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and wonderful, and it makes the experience even more special. Knowing that it’s a family-owned bakery makes it even better—you can feel how genuine, open, and kind everyone is. They make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in.
Hands down, this is the best bakery in both North and South Carolina, and it is 100% worth the drive. Love, love, LOVE this place! 💕🥐✨

Simply amazing! If you were to be blindfolded and eat, a pastry you would feel as if you were France.

Mado Bakert Cafe is an absolutely adorable little pastry and coffee shop. The pastries were absolutely delicious and handmade. The latte and tea we purchased were equally as good.
The staff are absolutely warm and welcoming from start to end.
If you're in the area; do yourself a favor and stop and get a little piece of France locally without the passport.

Mado Paris Bakery on Cherry Road in Rock Hill is so amazing! If you haven’t been there. Need to check it out. Chef Serge is the real thing. So is his megawatt smile and sunny disposition. He makes all of his pastries & delicacies with an absolute love and pride, and it’s evident in the results, but also the way he speaks about them. The butter, flour, chocolate, and more is imported from France. It is shipped over to New Jersey and then flown on a refrigeration cargo plane to Charlotte. If you know your pastries, then you know that the butter absolutely matters and he uses the best as he’s holding up in one of the pictures here.
If you really want a real treat, date location, gift idea, or just some self-care, this is your place.

Fabulous almond croissant!
I’ve been here two times so far and each time the pastries and coffee have been excellent. The staff are all so nice, and the croissants…the best you will have in the area!
Mado’s is a must try if you’re in the area, and it’s very much worth the drive even if you’re not.

We discovered this lovely bakery when planning a trip to NC from Florida, and are so glad we did! I called a few days before leaving and placed an order for them to hold for me since we wouldn’t be there until the afternoon. They were beyond happy to hold these items for us! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was beyond wonderful!! We met the owner, and he is so kind. We will be back if in the area!

Very disappointed with the customer service I received today. My girlfriend and I grabbed a pistachio tart and baguette and headed to throw disc. After taking a couple bites, I had two pieces of pistachio shell crunching in my teeth. Paying 13-14$ for a tart, I would never expect shells to be included. After our round, we went back to get another tart. I talked to the older French gentleman and they offered me another pistachio tart. At this point I was a bit shocked because I was weary I’d find another shell. First and foremost, I love the treats here and have never had a problem before. But the first bite into the second pistchio tart gave me another unhealthy crunch between my teeth and I knew there was another shell. Since we were in the parking lot, I walked back in and asked for a different tart with no nuts involved, like a lemon one. Older man got man and said if I wanted a lemon tart I’d have to pay for it. I said whatever and threw both the old and new pistachio tart away in the store and left. Guy didn’t believe me and said they sell hundreds and never have anyone come back. I guess was just lucky today. Either way they’ve lost a customer for life. Could have made the switch easily enough but decided I wasn’t being honest and I’m kinda heartbroken because everything there is really good.
