Came there 5 mins before 3 and the African guy said sorry we’re close . When the sign said 3 . Soooooo thankful for his unwillingness to do his job because I found “Amélie's French Bakery & Café” right downtown Rock Hill & Ill never go no where else for now on, they have the BEST Desserts in the world !!! Please Go There!! Thank me later!!

AMAZING!! The best bakery I have ever been to!! The croissants are so buttery and flaky and have this kinda crispy bite into it 🥐 (my dog kept sniffing it the whole way home haha!) And the caramel frappe is the best I’ve had! I’m a classic girlie so I usually get a caramel frappe or latte at any coffee place and this place totally beats like Starbucks or Dunkin! It’s not as loaded up with sugar but still sweet and not watered down at all! 10/10 And the owners are so sweet and welcoming the whole atmosphere is so warm and friendly I love it ❤️🤍💙

This is truly a French bakery/café operated by a beautiful family making an outstanding treat, and it is. The croissant is perfect if you know what to expect from a French croissant. The lemon tart is very well done. Light and fluffy with a very consistent lemon cream, yet rich with a nice lemon bite, and the Pâte Sablée (tart crust) tries very hard to be the star. I also got the strawberry tart and the creme brulee, and I'm sure they'll stand up to the croissant and lemon tart. A true 5 star French bakery.

During my recent visit to Rock Hill I knew I had to visit this cafe because my aunt raves about it every time we talk.
My latte was made perfectly. Like a true coffee shop. All the pastries were absolutely beautiful and delicious!
More than that the owners & this small business have given my aunt a true community. We were greeted at the door with huge smiles & hugs & again when we left.
I hope the locals know how lucky they are to have Mado, this amazing small business !

A local gem. Their almond croissant is the best croissant I've ever eaten in my life. Every single item I've tried has been incredible. All the pastry is immaculate, the balance of flavors and the level of sweetness are perfect. The owners and staff are really lovely and kind people that were missed by the community when the place was temporarily closed for a while. We went on their first day reopening and the line was out the door right at opening. The owner came out to talk to and shake hands with everyone waiting in line to thank them for their support and so many of the people knew him and told him how glad they were to see them back. I recommend trying to be there when it opens so you have the most options available because a lot of things will sell out every quickly.

AMAZING! This is the best new(er) addition to Rock Hill. The coffee was delicious but the pastries were EXCELLENT. I couldn’t take any pictures because we wolfed them down too fast. Instead of a birthday cake, I just want a caramel choux from Mado. I love that this place is not only a small, black owned business but also a true Parisian. You won’t be disappointed with any of the menu items here. Well done!
A little French bakery off the beaten path .. I hope the community knows what a jewel they have here . The best bread and pastries I've had in long time. I will pin this place so I can find it again.
