I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants, buffets, take out, dine in, and this one was probably the worst. If not, certainly one of the worst. Ordered General Tso, white rice and a sweet tea. The Tso had a weird texture, kinda slimy. The tea had like a hint of dish soap taste to it. The part I'm most upset about is the price. For $14 i was expecting either a larger quantity or a better quality, but instead it's just expensive low grade chinese food.

Today was a beautiful day to drive to SC for cheaper gas and to visit a Target in the area. Started to get hungry and Chinese food popped in my mind so I Google what was nearby and No. 1 Kitchen appeared. Read the reviews ? then I seen one comment that mentioned shrimp egg fu young and pepper steak. I'm from MD (PG County to be exact) and those two dishes are my staples from a "carryout". Took food home, was surprised of the portions "alot", and shared with my son. We both were very pleased with the familiar taste of up North. The pepper steak was very tender and seasoned properly, egg fu young taste fresh and cooked perfectly (not overly fried and greasy) and the gravy looked and tasted just like how I remembered from MD. I currently live in zipcode 28277, I will continue to take that 27 minute ride to Rock Hill just to get my authentic Chinese carryout items. Keep using the same quality ingredients and keeping the prices reasonable, you'll win every time and stay in buisness a long time! Thank you to the guy at the register for explaining the credit charge on my account ?? I'll see you next month ?

I frequent this restaurant and has never been disappointed with the food. The service is great too. I usually phone in my order and whenever I walk there with my dog, they happily bring my order to me outside. Highly recommend!
