I was passing through Rockhill from Charlotte to Columbia needing some pastries for a party! Thank you Google!! The owner was so kind & helpful! The Almond Croissant & Choux are ABSOLUTELY amazing. I may just be driving back to Rockhill from Columbia for another Choux!

Wow!!! There are not enough stars in the world for Mado! Excellent pastries, the BEST savory bread, seriously, get the savory bread, and such light, fluffy, yet crispy croissants they melt in your mouth yet leave you with a satisfying crunch. The owners are LOVELY. Great energy in this place. Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and go to Mado if you’re anywhere near Rock Hill.

Simply amazing. Great coffee and fantastic, authentic french pastries. All pastries are fresh-made. I enjoy meeting with business professionals here because of the atmosphere or simply dropping in for coffee. The owners are so nice, personable, and professional. Also, my kids love to stop here for the pastries and other baked goods, especially the delicious macaroons.

Stopped by Saturday morning and found a french-style bakery run by very nice owners with tasty but over-rated and over-priced products. We visit France twice a year so we do know what fresh french baguettes and pastries should taste like but unfortunately we didn't find them here. We arrived when they open at 8:30am but the croissants and baguettes were not yet ready to come out of the oven. When the baguette was finally ready, it was nice and warm but was not as light and airy in the middle as we expect from a good baguette. The baguette crust was good but just a bit too dense inside and at $5 for a small baguette, is five times more expensive than what you would get at a French boulangerie. Also tried their madelines which were quite tasty with nice crunchy edges and ordered a bacon quiche which was tasty but not exceptional. Also ordered capuccinos which were good.

I always look forward to coming here. You will never meet nicer, more hospitable people than the owners! The coffee is excellent and the macarons are far and away the best I’ve had anywhere. When I visit my daughter in Charleston, she insists that I bring her a dozen of them. If you want a light breakfast that goes beyond eggs and grits, you won’t be disappointed here!

This is a hidden gem! The owners take the time to treat you like family. They ask how you are every time and the food is amazing! The bread is just like the bakeries I visited in Paris and the owners have come to the US from France in the past few years. It’s always a treat to come here and not just for the food!

We had the privilege of walking in when fresh croissants were coming out of the oven. They were so delicious! The owners are actually from Paris and are the real deal! They even use French flour. As a person with intolerance to American wheat I am looking forward to enjoying pastries again!

We visited Mado Bakery recently and had a great experience. The very friendly Parisian bakery owners have turned this little place (an old bank) into a great place to enjoy great bakery goods in a very nice atmosphere. It's a little far for us to get to, but we'll definitely stop by whenever we are in the area. Note that this is not an "industrial" place in the sense that they have a diverse menu, but they do not have all items available every day. It depends of what they decided to prepare for that day. So every visit brings a little surprise as to what will be available then.

An authentic French bakery right here in Rock Hill. The new owners are the sweetest couple, Serge and Odette, who make you feel right at home. The seating inside the vault is a cool touch. They bake everything themselves and in September will be adding a lot more. So glad we found them.

The staff was super ethusiastic here.

So sad. New owners, overpriced OK coffee and no desserts. There is one in Charlotte, I might try that one next time.
