Hadn't been here in a long time so we decided to stop by since we were back in the area. They've added a drive thru in the post COVID era but aren't necessarily equipped to handle both dine in and carry out orders efficiently... the wait time for our food was a little long. I ordered cheese grits, one egg, toast, and hashbrowns and everything was good except the hashbrowns (too crispy). Customer service was great and it was nice to see there was still some good down home southern hospitality among the customers dining together.

It a local favorite. Not from this area which may account for my taste preferences. Dining area was cramped, old and smelled of oil. The cooks were trying to get orders out quickly but really not equipped for the crowd. My grits were tasty but oily, sausage was inedible and eggs were unhappy. The server was new but pleasant. Most folks seemed to know each other which was nice. Server was too busy to make some hot chocolate for me so I had ice tea with breakfast which was a bummer. The place was recommended to me so I may try again.

What a cozy place to have breakfast. I felt like I came home when I walked in the door. We were greeted and waited on by T, and Michelle delivered our food and continued to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was really delicious and you could tell it was cooked with love. We were in town for the United States Disc Golf Championship Doubles Tournament, and this breakfast was the fuel I needed to kick-start my first round.
