My husband and I are in Rock Hill on a short business trip. We decided on Rock Hill Diner for our dinner. We are glad we did. The service was excellent and the food was served timely and was very good. The menu offered a large variety.

We've been here a few times and it's always been a welcoming place and the food is always good. But today, We knew immediately, after being seated at a table, that the waitress had NO desire to be our server for the day. We witnessed other people come in, be seated, and immediately get drinks & orders taken. And so after (16)minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. But the most disappointing part of the ordeal is the fact the we had a Family member visiting from another state joining us for lunch and they didn't get to experience the good food. And guess what, they never will cause they made it clear that they have no desire to ever come to the RHD again.

Had an experience today that was unacceptable. Ordered a breakfast sandwich in which the eggs had shells all through it(disgusting). I simply took the breakfast sandwich back to get a refund because I no longer wanted anything. The guy at the register pretty much tried to refuse to give me a refund for a mistake they made not to mention a waitress who was making remark that seemed to be a little racist. Usually this place is my go to for a breakfast sandwich but I’ll definitely be finding somewhere else to have my breakfast.

My wife had gone here once for lunch so we thought we would go for dinner tonight. Walked in and were sat right away. A table was then sat behind my wife. Waitress came and took their drink order and served them. No one came to our table. Couple minutes later table behind me gets sat. Waitress comes and takes their drink order and another table just to the side of us gets sat and their order is taken. By now we have been sitting for 10 minutes and no one has come to our table to even take our drink order. Cannot rate food or atmosphere as we walked out and went somewhere else for dinner. Never returning here.
The spaghetti is delicious and everyone that works there is so nice. 🍝
