My husband and I stopped by today for a rum tasting & it was such a fun experience. It was a great price, $10 gets you 6 tastings with chasers and it’s super cool you get to keep your shot glass after your tasting. The two owners were so friendly! We will definitely come back and bring friends!!

First experience was stellar. Our group had a tasting this evening prior to dinner. The variety was enjoyable with the Lemongrass and Vanilla being my favorite. William and Patrick were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with questions. We walked away impressed with the facility and product. 5 Stars across the board for hospitality, product, atmosphere, and value.

Very cute and quaint and tiny place for some yummy liquor tastings. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the tastings were delish. Not any seating anywhere from what I can see to enjoy the tasting, but I was only there maybe abt 20min and was done so was all good.

As we were driving in Rock Hill we made an impromptu right turn and came across the Sleeping Giant Distillery, we've never been so decided to be spontaneous, and try out their selection!As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and an offer to try their tasting option which we quickly responded yes! The tasting includes a high quality branded shot glass plus we get to try 4 of their available rum flavors along with their preselected mixers.Today's selections included their silver rum, coffee flavored rum, spiced rum, and their lemongrass vanilla rum ????All of the rums plus their mixers were perfect!While we were tasting each rum, the owner explained their process and the composition of each rum ✨At the end of this quick impromptu stop, we got two bottles of the lemongrass vanilla rum and we are looking forward to share with family and friends!
We had such a great time! One of the co-founders, William, was our tour guide and you could tell he was very passionate about what he and his brother Patrick had created. The distillery was so interesting and the tasting just added so much to the experience! It's well worth it; I would highly recommend the Sleeping Giant to anyone looking for a different type of adventure.

My fiancé is a huge rum guy. We stopped by Sleeping Giant Distillery on our way back from seeing a friend in Gaffney. We are hooked! We did a taste testing with the mixers. I loved all of the rums but the Coffee Rum was my favorite (brought a bottle home) We are so excited to find this gem close to home. If you’re in the Rock Hill area, stop by. You won’t be disappointed!
