If I wanted a paper thin burnt burger , I would have gone to Freddys ..... and they forgot my cookies!!!! Don't order a large drink 64oz cup ($4 add on)that has no chance of fitting more than 1 in a cup holder Waste of

They cooked the burger thin and crispy tasted like a potato chip and not a steak n shake burger they remade it, it was a little better but then they drowned it in mustard. So just ate what I could and left😒 😩😔

Look if you've never had it before I highly recommend once upon a time there was one in Columbia where we live but we never got the chance to try it before they close down immediately upon opening I'm not sure what the issue is it's one of those great places where you don't have to deal with idiotic employees and you go up you use the little menu board you order the food yourself and then your food appears on the counter in perfect order no issues nothing wrong and the beef taller they cook with is amazing

Stopped during travel on the way home. My husband went in to get take out. It probably took 45 minutes to get food. I understand places get short staffed but apparently no apology, no communication, and when asked for a reduction in cost, they said they couldn’t offer a refund as the general manager wasn’t there. When we want a quick bite traveling home for the holidays, we expect a lot better. Af least my food tasted good, though not the fries weren’t that hot. Disappointing. Won’t come back here.

They somehow screw the same order up everyday 🤦♂️
First time eating at this restaurant. I came for a shake but ended up getting a combo instead. This was the BEST burger and fries I've ever had. I will certainly return!

We were on our way to WHATABURGER, saw steak&shake and decided to give them I try instead Ordered for a family of 4, waited for 30 minutes only to receive cold food, when the kids complained about cold food, it's a problem. Restaurant floor dirty, service from manager was unsatisfactory when he doesn't have the power to give refund for cold food, he said the GM would need to handle that... I'm waiting on call back! We should have went to whataburger as intended.

I was craving steak and shake fries, the thin crispy ones and when my food was delivered they were thick cut fries that were hardly even cooked. I know this might have been done as an improvement but i’m not happy about the change.

We were so lucky! Drove nearly 2 hours. This is the closest open Steak and Shake to us. Just after we ordered their system crashed!!! The manager and her helper were so friendly! The store was very clean.
