We found this gem after a fundraiser and I love it! It was full because it was prom so we ordered take out. The 24 hour braised short ribs with risotto did NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We’re going to make a trip back to Rock Hill just to sit and eat.

We came for a Saturday brunch with grandparents and kids. The food was excellent and the portions were hearty so we felt it was a great value. The kids breakfast was substantial and we added a side pancake so we felt it could be split between 2 people! This has also been the case with kids entrees at other times - we always have leftovers. The omelettes were a big hit and so was the steak and eggs. While we always love the food here, the service was a bit of a miss for us on this day (though not previously). Our server seemed distracted and overwhelmed and a little annoyed when we asked for some things or she made excuses. It took her a long time to come over at the start of our service and we felt like we could have ordered our food a lot sooner. The food came out but we had no cutlery/napkin bundles on our table. Eventually, someone on the mgmt team came out to rectify it and he was so nice and complimented our kids' manners. Overall, it was great and we will be back but hope to get a different server.

The best trout I've ever ate hands down, if not the best dish I've had in the charlotte area. Picture of it does not do it justice.

What a great place. We tried 4 different things and couldn't decide which one was best. At the price point, this might be the best place to eat in Rock Hill. We had the Brussel sprouts, calamari, fried chicken, and shrimp and grits. Highly recommend.

Came from Charlotte to enjoy my birthday with a small dog. We were rejected for service. The outside area was closed due to “shortage of staff”.

We've stopped here numerous times on our trips down south. Food was always amazing, but today we won't know. We were seated at the bar and waited patiently to be helped. The bartender looked to be tied up on the phone. (Why bartenders have to cover carryout, I dont understand). Anyways, the manager walked by us 3 times, while doing nothing, and just looked at us each time. Maybe we are hangry atm, but any acknowledgment would have remedied the situation.

First time visit at The Flipside Restaurant in the beautiful reviving historic Rock Hill. My friend and I stopped in for lunch. What a beautifully southern decorated restaurant! Very clean, hospitable spot with incredible food that is fresh but not overpriced. I had the salmon and shared the Avocado pull- away bread for an appetizer. My friend had the Cuban Sandwich. Let me just say what a stellar dining experience this was! I always appreciate seeing teamwork and leadership visiting tables.
Stopped in for a bite to eat. Server was friendly. Food was good and of large portion. Was a good meal and cozy atmosphere. Would go back for sure if ever in town again, as we were out of towners.

I ordered the small plate of hummus and my husband had shrimp and grits which we shared. The shrimp and grits were delicious. The hummus with crostini and crackers was great. Our past visits to the restaurant have also been very good. The lady who served our food was very kind and conscientious. I had a cup of coffee as well and it was great ?. The cost was around $25 for everything. I can't tell you how many times we paid over $50 at other restaurants and had the food be terrible, so I was very pleased with $25. We can't wait to eat here again.
