Did not get the food I ordered. The girl seemed overwhelmed, but I thought she had it corrected....It wasn't. It was a takeout so we didn't realize it until we got home 26 miles away. But, the gorditas with chicken ( the only thing I actually ordered) were delicious. THIS WAS NOT LUNCH. It was after 5 pm.
did this place get sold/bought by someone else? placed a pick up order and they were out of chips. we had to get them to remove the queso and extra salsa from our bill because who wants that without chips.
the burritos were waaay different than usual. and not in a good way.

If you want authentic, this is it. So good! The chips are made fresh and are thicker than average as well as seasoned perfectly. My meal (#4) was definitely one of the best I've had in a long time. Hubby's burrito was also delicious.
Great food but I ordered the 4 taco box and only got 3. The worst part is the one I didn't get was the shrimp taco which was an extra charge. Very disappointing

Today is now the third time that I have called up there placed an order clarified multiple times that they had the amount that I needed correct have been told that they have it correct and had them repeat it back to me and then we get there 45 minutes later and our food hasn’t even been started after we were told on the phone that it would be 10 minutes For the two trays that we ordered only ended up receiving one tray and the corn and we said we wanted corn literally a cob of corn shoved onto a stick with nothing else on it when I said something about it they told me that is what I ordered because that is street corn I do recall street corn has stuff on it and I’ve ordered the same thing multiple times that I’ve gone and just here recently the past three times have been ridiculous. I absolutely love this place. We try to go at least once a week , but it’s getting very frustrating. Had a coworker go with us. They also gave someone else their food. This is not a first time for this place which really sucks because the food is pretty good.

This my second time in a Berto’s I’ve also went to the one at 5 Forks which was great. This time I got the steak nachos, delicious and plenty and the Queso dip witch is good but average and 2 salsas from the salsa bar The mild salsa verde quite good and the spicy guac got a kick with cilantro lime vibe I’m liking it.

The prices literally change EVERY SINGLE TIME. We are finally giving up on them.This time wanted almost $10 after taxes for two plain soft tacos(just meat and tortilla). Lordy!
The seasoning is very rich and the service is very fast. Highly recommended! Ivis is a good cook and serves very well.

They DO NOT USE GLOVES AT ALL THE COOK IS THE CASHIER AND SHE LITERALLY GOES BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE TWO AND I STOOD THERE AND WATCHED HER SHE NEVER ONCE WASHED HER HANDS..She picked up the food with her hands EVERY ORDER.. Not once did she use a spatula. She wiped across her nose and continued to fix our food. This is the second time i have came here and they were picking up the food with their bare hands without Washing them!! That IS JUST NASTY and Unacceptable!!! If you’re not watching them cook your food I’d be very careful eating it..!! Invest in some gloves no wonder you had a C-Rating. It was the older lady not the younger girl and She NEVER wear gloves every-time I’ve came inside to order I’ve never saw her attempt to put on gloves. She older with dark black hair. Yes the Spartanburg Location. Next time I will take a picture!!
