Can't rate the food do like the atmosphere but the service absolutely is the worst of the worst . If you have all day to eat go for it but 45 minutes after being seated and still not being waited on is a little ridiculous. To the owner I am sorry you missed out on 12 meals 12 drinks and a possible great review . First impressions is what makes or breaks where I spend my money . Sorry you want get any !!

I went here expecting a bit more than what it was. I ordered food for me and a friend to go. I got the fish and chips, which were supposed to come with tartar sauce and coleslaw, but sadly, I wasn't given either with my order. The flounder was fried well and tasted good, but sadly, I didn't have the coleslaw to go with it. The batter was a bit bland, which I'll touch up on later.I also got the sweet potato fries, which I'd have to say was the best thing I ordered there. The fries were coated with what tasted like possibly brown sugar and cinnamon with a pinch of salt, so they were sweet but savory. I would say they skimp out on the fry portions, though, as i probably only got like 12 fries. They're hand cut and thick, so not too bad, but I still would've liked a couple more. It's still definitely a must order when there.I ordered the bistro burger and fries for my friend and some catfish bites to share. As I said, the batter they fry with is bland, so the catfish bites didn't have all that much taste, which I'd say is much needed for a muddy tasting fish. The Sriracha tartar sauce the catfish bites came with carried them. It was really good tasting, but I wouldn't have eaten the catfish bites alone without it.The interior looked good and had an old rustic bar feel to it, which you would expect being in downtown St. George.

We drive out to this Bistro from Summerville because the food is great. Kira, our server is friendly and suggested she help me pick my meal and I had the salmon and it was amazing! Love the small town feel. I highly suggest you try this place …you won’t be disappointed!
Todd and Michelle and his staff are excellent , prompt and professional, when he has sushi night i would say it has a 10/10 rating with the absolute best sushi in Charleston !!!Not to mention the other food options on the menu are top notch at a professional culinary level !!! They have a wide variety of local beers as well as top shelf bourbons to choose from .If you get the chance please stop in support local business to this great restaurant / establishment in St George South Carolina .Kid-friendliness: A very family friendly atmosphere with a back patio that is more low key and quite .
Lovely little stop a couple of miles off 95. Clean and cute, the food was delicious (get the fried zucchini bites and the shrimp and grits), and the service was great. We will be looking to stop here again on our travels!Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu and kid-friendly service.
Absolutely wonderful experience at a small town bistro; highly recommend. Close to 95 and easy to get to.

My family and I went to Bistroe 221 to eat first our first time Saturday evening. Since we hadn't been there before each one of us ordered something different. I had what was supposed to be a 12oz ribeye, cooked medium, fries and a salad. The steak was far from a 12oz. It looked like one of those skinny ribeyes that the Piggly Wiggly had on sale because the date was about to run out! Yeah! Yall know which ones I'm talking about. The steak had no flavor! Fries and salad were good. Appetizers were good as well. Service was excellent! Atmosphere was great as well. My wife had fried shrimp w/ sweet potato fries. My son had a Cheese burger, fries and my daughter in law had chicken tenders and fries. Everybody was pretty much happy with their food.

The service was iffy. The server was more interested in gossiping with the bartender. The food and drinks were good and the place was pretty.
