Being in a truck stop quick service is needed to keep customers and professional drivers happy. This location is definitely lacking! When we came in we was told the dishwasher is broken and everything was served on paper plates with plastic ware. We was okay with that and decided to stay.
Professional drivers were standing everywhere in the front, waiting for their orders. We sat and were greeted quickly and drink orders taken. When we placed our order, we were very specific to ask for scrambled eggs and well-done bacon. While waiting for our food a few drivers started saying that they had been here 20+ minutes waiting waiting their food. A few minutes later they started requesting money back, and the woman took attitude saying she only has one cook they need to be patient. They pushed the issue and got refunds.
Our food arrived with undercooked bacon and very flat, dry pancakes. I waited about 10 minutes for our server to check in and ask for bacon to be fixed and butter for the pancakes.
Overall, this is a poor example of Dennys

Sorry to say but the food was not good.We ordered breakfast. Our pancakes were good. The hash browns were very greasy. Our eggs were cooked wrong. We ordered our eggs over easy & over medium. My friend's egg order was presented scrambled. My eggs were overcooked & solid. There was no runny yolk. I requested another order to correct the previous attempt. The 2nd attempt was not much better. I suggested to the waitress that the cook could use some additional training. My friend & I felt there were communication problems between the staff. We felt we had made our order clear. I asked for some compensation on our bill. We received 15% discount. They give a 15% discount to AARP members anyway. Oh well!

On Thursday I came in at 7pm and there was I sign on the door saying they closed at 8pm when it suppose to be 9pm. A waitress came to seat me along with another gentleman and another waitress yelled at me that she was closed. Be mindful this was at 7:20pm. However the other gentleman was seated

Consistency is key for establishments like this. Come here find it in disarray and food served on paper plates with plastic utensils. I suppose there's limitation to the experience but this picnic style dining is an abomination. Don't waste your energy.

Was so excited to see that the service has drastically improved! We had Katie and she served our family like we were her own! Very impressed!
One of the worst services I ever experienced. Too bad because the egg-celent Cobb salad was very good. The restaurant was mostly empty. Plenty of waitresses on hand. Waited almost an hour for my Cobb salad. Got up to leave but it was ready. In all that time my waitress never came over to offer a refill or anything. And I had to chase her for the check.

Everyone was nice and the food was standard dennys food but the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here, you will regret it. Unless you just like hanging out at dennys with your drink for an hour while you wait for food

Don't know what the heck was going on. Wasn't busy at all. I don't know if they were short staffed or something. Had to wait for over a hr till food arrived. My experience with NC chains where way way way better. The sirloin steak I had tasted and smelled spoiled. I even noticed that some of the wait staff had to do the cookingDefinitely won't be coming back to this one in St. George SC. Our waitress Katie was awesome and also heard that this store was under new management to hopefully fix the issues there. Hopefully management can do it because I love eating at Dennys
