Most pleasant restaurant experience in a long time. Noah, the chef, and his wife Blanche were so very personable and pleasant to talk with. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac & cheese and even the cornbread (mine and my wife's because she was full ?) were all delicious. Great comfort food just off the interstate for weary travellers ?
We recently moved to the area and I came across RBI’s restaurant while taking a drive around the town. I went home and read the reviews and knew I had to come here. There were six of us on a Friday night and we were seated a family style table, which was great considering it was mostly guys with us. If you’re looking for an authentic “down home soul food” experience, then put a stop at Shugs at the top of your list! Food was absolutely delicious...the fried chicken was just like my mom used to make! The staff is friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean with thoughtful decor, and you can even get a glass of your favorite adult beverage! #nottheaverageroadsidestop
