My wife and I had dinner here this evening (5/18/2025). The place was decent. However, many people who came later than us were served prior to us. After finishing two beers and a salad without a meal, I asked to speak to the Manager. Our food was finally served with no free drink or anything for our inconvenience. Not good customer service!! If you’re traveling through this town, don’t stop here for a meal. They really don’t care.

My wife and I ate with 6 other friends. Our waitress was outstanding and the meal came out fast and hot. I was pleasantly surprised considering the size of our group.
I got the cajun jambalaya, but was disappointed that it wasn't spicier. My wife got the blackened mahi and enjoyed it, but wasn't impressed by it.
We didn't order appetizers, but did order dessert. She got the apple crisp and looked it. I got the mandarin, pineapple, orange cake, and it was a little dry for me.
She got a beer and a coffee, while I had iced tea.
All of that cost $100 before the tip.
We don't live in the area. We'd go back if friends suggested it, but probably would look for a different place to try if it were just us.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it's wheelchair accessible.

Food smells great. Unfortunately I can't tell you. Sat at the bar for 15 minutes with both bartenders chatting with their friends. No drink no food. It's a 12 person bar...go at a super slow time.
A large seafood menu including healthy choices. We had the blackened flounder that was good. Nice house salad with the entrees. Probably the best restaurant in Santee. A good option for travelers on I95.

I ordered the whole flounder. It was very greasy and it needed to cook a little longer.

Service was very good and atmosphere as god. Both entrees were over cooked (fried flounder and chicken Parmesan). Not worth the price
Dining at Captain’s Quarters is definitely a local hangout and seems to do a solid business. My server Lisa got me set up with a beer while I decided on dinner. I went for a cup or the clam chowder and the fried seafood platter. The chowder was OK, not very thick but a decent amount of clams. The seafood platter is huge with two slabs of haddock and a good amount of shrimp and oysters. The breading used is light and doesn’t overpower the seafood. Overall the dish is good and well worth the cost. Overall good food and service.

Food was ok liked our waitress they did not carry the Chambord for the French martini I was craving and they ran out of asparagus 2 hrs after opening. The prime rib melted in your mouth but the horseradish was lacking. The special tripple tail with mango sauce was tasty. All and all I would go back again almost a 4 star rating from me I just couldn't get there

Let me start out by saying, I review quite often and rarely ever give a negative one but this place was horrible. After driving 13hrs from NY I was exhausted and Just wanted a good meal and sleep. Our waitress was good but (pushy) stood over us 90% of the time. Then the food. My friend had fillet Mignon that looked like it was a $2 stake and only came with grits (were ok) and no vegetable for $48. I had Salmon over rice with a pineapple glaze and two big dole pIeces of pineapple and asparagus (up charge) for that. For $37! Dessert apple crisp crumb looked like my dog upchuked and a brownie with ice cream was avg. Needless to say the food got me sick and I been up all night. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!
