We usually come here for special occasions. I have always had a good meal but last night was not good. The service was great, the atmosphere was super noisy but that is pretty usual, the food was LESS than mediocre. The “jambalaya “ was VERY tomato based. It is suppose to be roux based.

We always go here when in Santee. Great service and drink prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to get back.

After seeing the reviews, I was a little hesitant. We arrived in to town on a Friday night and decided we better make reservations just in case. Good thing we did because it filled fast. My husband opted for chicken parmigiana which came with a salad which he said was really good. I had prime rib which also came with a choice of baked or sweet potato and a salad. It was delicious, cooked perfectly, and tender. The wait staff was on top of everything. From bussing tables, providing service and delivering food- it was top notch.

I had the prime rib and my celiac wife had the salmon, baked potato and a salad, they did a great job ensuring her meal was gluten free and prepared in a gluten free, clean area. She had a salad with Italian dressing, then grilled salmon with a baked potato. I had prime rib dinner with a loaded potato and their home made cake for dessert... The prime rib was good but could have been warmer, the cake was also good but a bit dry, it could have been more moist so I would say it was just okay. The other salmon dinner had scallops and loaded potato, it was very good, the third salmon dinner came with broccoli and it was very good as well. The meal cost more in our case due to the wine we bought.Note: you are allowed to bring your own wine.... There is a $3:00 corking fee.Dietary restrictions: If you need to have a gluten free meal, they can accommodate.

Comfortable restaurant just off 95 in Santee. A great option for seafood (we both had shrimp - scampi & fried) and the seafood was very fresh & delicious. Service was friendly & warm. Worth the extra $ for healthier, non-fast food options & would return next trip.

Food was very good. We sat at the bar, which we like to do. Unfortunately, they like the TVs to be on their favorite news stations, that was both annoying and distracting to the bartender. Prime rib was quite good!

We've eaten at Captains Quarters several times over the last few months and have had great food and excellent service every time. There is a very full menu of wonderful choices (try the fried green tomatoes, the haddock fillet, shrimp & grits and jambalaya). The other thing that is amazing is how well the staff work as a team. On the most recent visit, three different servers took care of us. It can get quite busy, so make a reservation. Enjoy!

Great local spot. The salmon portion was generous and excellent. Sat at the bar and felt welcomed by the staff and even the owner. Cozy spot. Love to stop there while traveling to Florida and back to Ohio. The shrimp pasta was also amazing and a huge portion was served.

On a Friday evening, we had no reservation. With no waiting, we dined at a great table for two in the bar side.Crawfish Bites are light & quite tasty. The remoulade had just enough spice to compliment the Bites.Prime Rib - delicious!
