When we opened the front door at 8 p.m. we were told that there was no cook or other service staff and that there was therefore nothing to eat. So we went straight back out. It's a shame... I used to enjoy coming here to eat (20 years ago)

I stop at this location to have something to eat and the door was locked at 12:30pm, when I asked if they were open they told me they closed the door to wash up the dishes. As I was leaving they let someone else inside. I don’t know why but situation like this is not acceptable.

Waitresses Allison was AWESOME! Cook got my food wrong, she took it back to him, TWICE. she was extremely nice. Leave the restaurant and I get extremely SICK!! NEVER AGAIN. I use to like this place when I traveled but I will never return.

The day before Thanksgiving was very very busy and the staff were shorthanded only one server one cook. The place was packed. The two employees did a fantastic job of doing the best they could. The meals were fantastic. Will give it another try when I'm passing.

Do NOT waste your time and money. I never leave reviews anywhere, but this is unacceptable. If I could give negative stars I would…It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will not be reviewing the food, as we didn’t get to enjoy it. As soon as we walked in and said “Good Morning!” none of the waitresses answered..just stared blankly at us with a condescending look on their faces…all the tables were dirty, we asked one of the young ladies if we could just sit down anywhere, and she answered rudely “I’m cleaning…you can sit when I finish.”. We thanked her and sat down, already feeling the tension in the atmosphere. Our daughter asked for a hot chocolate and she asked if we wanted whipped cream at which we all responded “No, thank you!” She came back with the hot chocolate with cream all over it. My daughter said it was fine as she didn’t want to bother an already very visibly bothered waitress, but I apologized and asked her if she could change it. She acted surprised, and I told her that we had let her know before when we ordered! She got in my face, speaking loudly enough to where the (very small amount of) clients started staring. And she said “well if you said it, I clearly didn’t understand it”. Now, I speak English, but with an accent so that’s what she tried to imply by her rude and discriminative comment, but my daughters speak fluent English and she was the one ordering so it isn’t even a case of miscommunication. She then brought the hot chocolate without cream and I asked her: Me: Do we have a problem? Do you want us to leave or..? Her: I jus’ don’t like your tone of voice Me: I didn’t even alter my voice, you are the one being rude to us. Her: We don’t have to talk you are here to eat and leave And she left to the kitchen where we could still hear her talk back and gossiping out loud to her coworkers, who were already staring at us. We got up, said thank you, and left. It was an horrible experience, I did not see any of them smile or try to make us feel welcome at all. It’s not asking a lot to be treated with at least some kind of decency when that is where we are choosing to spend our money. Remember you are not doing us, the costumers, any favor, we quickly found somewhere else to eat in the area with much better quality, cleaner and much much better service. If u are thinking about coming here, don’t. You can do better!

Stopped at the Santee location for a quick bite. This patty melt plate was so good! Cooked to perfection??! The bread was toasted just right, the bacon was perfect, and the beef patties had great flavor. The fries were crispy and fresh. We gave the cook and the server our appreciation!

Terrible service from the moment I walked in with my kids. The waiters didn't feel like working. They gave us bad service. They ignored us because of my language (Spanish). When I finally spoke to a woman, I asked her if they were serving or closed. She said they were open. Then the waiter arrived with bad service and took our orders. (My dish was meat with mashed potatoes and gravy) but I couldn't really eat it because of the amount of gravy it had. The waiter's attitude towards us was very uncomfortable since I speak Spanish and he looked at us badly from the first moment. After everything, without my son finishing, he gave us the total of the bill (totally inflated) to which he came to charge without even giving us the receipt to see why the bill had gone up so much. I had to ask for the receipt to check and when he came with the receipt it was for less. And he fixed it but still adding another drink. Then we told him that there was one drink too many and he angrily took it out and charged us for what had actually been consumed. After calculating, he had charged a 20% tip without telling us and when we paid at the machine he expected us to add more tip without realizing it. If you visit this place, please check your bill and do not let the language abuse you.
The food was great! Price is very reasonable and the food to me was better than the waffle house. You get more for your money going to the Huddle House! The manager took our order , he was very knowledgeable & nice! I would definitely go back again. Thanks!

Your double entry doors are dangerous. Pinned my finger in between them as it has no door closer, is heavy and slams quickly. Not safe. Also pretty hot inside. Told ac not working for a while... Please address these owner issues so we can safely and comfortably visit your establishment in the future.

The food was fantastic for how cheap it was. No issues there. It was the staff who made our experience awful. A tall black man with a clean shave and short hair talked behind the counter about how he was threatening to shoot someone. I turned my head in their direction and the two women listening scattered as they all pretended nothing had happened. They then gathered back together moments later and began saying horrible things about myself and my family. I will never eat here again until the staff have been dealt with. I never asked for names or anything, they were just some rude people who loudly spoke poorly of my skin tone, family, and clothing.
