The place was packed when we sat down as our table was the last one available. The 2 waitress that were working were busting their butt's to try to get to everyone as fast as they could. They were tag teaming tables even if it was not there table. None of the workers were complaining about how busy it was and there was not a break for them in site. The food came out quick and was hot and delicious. I will say my overall experience was better than anticipated.

We attempted to get a quick bite at this Huddle House location in Santee, SC off I-95. Past Huddle House stops have been good for us, but this one was bizarre.I refer to our stop as "attempted" because as we were walking into the restaurant an employee runs out and begins to curse profusely at someone they knew by name driving through the parking lot at the convenience store next store.My wife and I were completely put off by the emotional outburst. Our immediate thought was "whatever is going on here we don't want to be a part of it".This was a missed attempt to create a long term customer because we often pass by Santee and it is a good place to stop for the night or for a quick break when traveling.Unfortunately, the Huddle House here has left an indullable impression that will remain whenever we pass by a Huddle House. This makes me sad because I've always had good experiences with them as a restaurant chain.

I asked for lemonade— there was none. I asked for a BLT—there was no tomato. I had to pay cash because the credit card reader was “offline”. There was food (bread) on the floor in the kitchen that never got picked up. Numerous people left while we were there, annoyed. Never again.

We ate here twice on our golfing trip to santee. The food was excellent. The sausage gravey was amazing. Just like my mother in laws was back in the day. The prices were good and the staff was friendly. One young man in particular, didnt get his name, was so nice and attentive. The place isnt fancy but it is clean. Would recommend if you like a good old fashioned sothern breakfast. Thanks!

I am rating this only on the chocolate cake and service I received. I did not eat a meal here. I went in on a Sunday night around 8, the place was a mess! Every single table full of dirty dishes, (so it must be good!) One young man working all alone. He was so polite and friendly despite his overwhelming tasks at hand. I wanted to cry for him! He was clearly skilled at multi tasking. ( I would've fell apart ??) So kudos to that brave, hard working young man, AND that chocolate cake was to die for!! Thank you

My husband and I come here for quick dates and honestly we love the people here. The man that is usually our waiter is amazing.... Is it fancy here? No it's a Huddle house but I swear that guy makes it worth it. The cooks are always spot on as well. I wish I knew the servers name but we always leave him a large tip. He truly makes the expierience for us, even when it's just Huddle house... We come here and only want him as our server. He makes my strawberry waffle perfect everytime. I hope they keep him around I don't think it would be the same without him.

We stopped for lunch while on i-95. The place was OK. They took some time to pay attention to us. A peach drink initially was not available but later they have complimentary. The atmosphere was casual perhaps it is not patronized that much.

The food was absolutely disgusting. For it to be busy in there and only have one server was ridiculous.
How sorry can you be to be open on a Saturday and only offer takeout!!! They complained about needing to catch up.They lost my business. Food previously was only mediocre anyway, so no big loss.Waffle House right down the street!!

Ordered online through the app and originally ordered a prime rib sandwich and a prime rib omelette and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. After placing the order they called me and informed me that they were out of prime rib. Had to call back and substitute out for a meat lovers omelette and another Philly cheesesteak sandwich. We ordered fries for the side and I also got hash browns all the way with one meal. Also The app says you can do curbside pickup. I sat waiting and the lady finally brought it out when they realized the ticket said curbside but they don’t offer curbside at this location. So be aware of that when placing an online order. But all of the food tasted fantastic. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

First time Huddle House customers. Very positive experience. Food was better than typical chain diner fare that we expected. The dining room was clean and welcoming. Our server, Shantae (sp?) was great! Friendly, attentive, helpful, funny. She deserves a raise! ?
